UPDATE January 2014
Dr. Jones estimates that he will need to raise $23,000 by January 15 in order to keep his office open. He apologizes for having to issue yet another urgent plea of this nature.

Hi Tincup:
I visited on Saturday. We appreciate all he has done and is doing for our daughter as well as for other children with Tick Borne Diseases.
He was working on charts and I was able to chat with him for a few minutes.
I hope I'm as sharp as he is when I'm 84.

Up, up, up!!
This is so urgent. It's unreal what they have put him through. He's a saint in my book, and that of many, many others, I'm sure.

Are the LLMD across the country also getting his cries for help? I know these doctors could give dollars to our nickels.
Please tell me someone is in training with this wonderful man? He does need to retire someday. I hope he's leaving some of his great talents with other pedi docs?
I'm going to make a donation right now. It will do my heart good to know I helped in some small small way.

Hi Map1131:
I know some of the LLMD's help Dr. Jones.
Unfortunately that is not enough with his having to cut back due to illness and just slowing down with age. I think he needs to get past the magic March 16th date (when the 4 year supervision ends). Then 5k/M disappears as well as a lowering of the legal burden.
Thanks for helping.

Did paypal on FB and it didn't hurt at all. I'm glad I could help.
When is the fight against our doctors going to stop? It is criminal what the medical establishment has done to this man.
Can't wrap my brain around dirty dogs in high places.

I admire the strength he has shown throughout all of this adversity. He did not fold up shop and hide. He kept right on healing those precious children even with the medical board breathing down his back.

Time was, we were doing a lot of protesting. We don't do that anymore? Or am I missing it? Or are we all too sick?
No disrespect intended.

This is a perfect example of why we need to be careful in our discussions.
I dont know what happened but apparently it was enough to.put him on the radar.
Sad when you cant get treated for an illness without worrying about whether or not y our doc is going to be prosecuted or not.

Grandmother-I completely get what you mean.
The lyme support group in my area used to be very active with education sessions in our area and protests at the BC CDC and other institutions causing issues for the lyme patient.
I used to put flyers up eveywhere and talk to everyone I met about tick bite prevention.
Now I don't eat dinner because I don't have the energy to peel myself off my chair.
Now most people in our group are so ill, we can barely manage the May 10 protest.
I think we are too sick. To be honest. And too worn down maybe.
I was happy to donate to Dr. J. I just wish I had the energy to do more to help the cause.

Has anyone heard - did he receive the funds he needed?
It just breaks my heart to see what some in the medical community have done when they should be praising him and learning from him. After all, they took an oath to "do no harm" but look at their actions.
There's no way to know, but I bet if you totaled all the Lyme patients "they've" seen, it wouldn't come close to the number that this wonderful doctor has cured!! My grandson was one of those cured and for that, I can't thank him enough. Being in his presence was one of the most inspiring events of my long life. I am so thankful for all that he has done for so many.
