God Is Enough
When you have nothing left but God, God is enough.
When life’s flood waters rise and torrents threaten to sweep you away. When turbulent waters rage and nothing stems the flow…
When you have nothing left but God, God is enough.
When life’s storms roll in and blackness clouds the sun. When gales overwhelm you with their ceaseless winds…
When you have nothing left but God, God is enough.
When life’s pressures become volcanic eruptions. and when molten flames blaze across your sky…
When you have nothing left but God, God is enough.
God is enough.
Have a blessed week!

2 Corinthians 4:17
For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory
Jesus said: “My sheep hear my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish. No one can take them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one can take them out of the Father’s hand. The Father and I are one.”
-------------------- 2 Corinthians 12:9-11
9 But he said to me, My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christs power may rest on me. Posts: 1445 | From Poconos, PA | Registered: Jul 2004

Be Imitators of God from Daily Light: Morning & Evening Devotional http://bit.ly/LGqNhD
Morning
Let your speech always be with grace.
A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in settings of silver. Like an earring of gold and an ornament of fine gold is a wise rebuker to an obedient ear. • Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers. •
A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good things, and an evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth evil things. • By your words you will be justified. • The tongue of the wise promotes health.
Those who feared the Lord spoke to one another, and the Lord listened and heard them; so a book of remembrance was written before Him for those who fear the Lord and who meditate on His name.
If you take out the precious from the vile, you shall be as My mouth. • But as you abound in everything—in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in all diligence... see that you abound in this grace also.
Colossians 4:6; Proverbs 25:11–12; Ephesians 4:29; Matthew 12:35; Matthew 12:37; Proverbs 12:18; Malachi 3:16; Jeremiah 15:19; 2 Corinthians 8:7
Evening
Your loving kindness is before my eyes.
The Lord is gracious and full of compassion, slow to anger and great in mercy. • Your Father in heaven... makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.
Be imitators of God as dear children.
And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma. • Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you. • Since you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit in sincere love of the brethren, love one another fervently with a pure heart. • The love of Christ compels us.
Love your enemies, do good, and lend, hoping for nothing in return; and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High. For He is kind to the unthankful and evil. Therefore be merciful, just as your Father also is merciful.
Psalm 26:3; Psalm 145:8; Matthew 5:45; Ephesians 5:1–2; Ephesians 4:32; 1 Peter 1:22; 2 Corinthians 5:14; Luke 6:35–36
* * *
Your Turn
"Be imitators of God" — That sets the bar so high, it's overwhelming! Today, let's pray for God's grace and help to live as Christ lived! Come leave your thoughts

JOYFUL THINGS
At times I'm so discouraged with problems of the day I fail to see the joyful things that are along the way.
When troubles overwhelm me It's then my nerves may fray that's when I need to take the time To simply sit and pray.
Reflecting on God's many gifts It makes me so aware Of all the joy in little things around me everywhere!
I must try to remember though problems come my way not to miss the joyful things and the beauty of this day.

I can relate to well I won't tell you how many. ha ha
At the right upper corner, you can click on Jump To a Bible Book.
There are articles to read and down at the bottom are videos. I am enjoying this study Bible so much.
Even with my cognitive/memory/concentration issues, I am understanding so much more.
God grant us understanding of Your Word and guide us to do Your will for us while on earth. I pray this in Jesus' name. Amen.

Blessings, "Do not grow weary in well doing for in due season you will reap a harvest if you faint not."
I have been asking myself a question, How does the Lord teach and discipline us?
It was sin that brought death including sickness.
If Adam and Eve had not sinned in the garden, they would have continued to mature and grow.
So, how would God have taught them there?
Maybe just some rambling thoughts in the late hour.
What do you think?

I think He teaches us by the things we experience. We have to search out the reason and may never know it. I know when looking back over my life, everything happened for a reason.
Sometimes it seemed like a bad thing but turned out for the best.
Discipline? He grounded me! It did bring me closer to Him. I heard from a friend yesterday that a young woman accepted Jesus as her Savior.
He and her mother both don't believe that would have happened if she hadn't gotten sick with Lyme.
God did banish Adam and Eve from the garden. Maybe their embarrassment of being naked was enough to teach them a lesson?
He is an awesome God. He disciplines us out of love.
