So a nurse co-worker of my wife came swiftly to me when she saw me at a get together. I detected the ora of new found knowledge from her comments & actions, something that may only send someone into when they have experienced deathly illness. It is amazing how quicker people learn when confronted with this, for I have seen this before with initial non-believers.

She says she thought of me when she went through this. Perhaps because I was admitted in that very hospital where she works & was in such a state of disarray & aloofness.

It turns out she was bitten by a mosquito while in Haiti this Feb and contracted Malaria. She was on multiple antibiotics & finally better. She does not feel completely well, more fatigue, but perhaps it was the ABX & the damage. She had also tested positive for EBV or HHV-6 in the past.

She also mentioned that she had seen ticks on their jacket in past adventures, so a Lymie like myself would always wonder. She pleasantly surprised me when she spoke about co-infections & herxes and was eager to listen to some of my stories.

Reason I am posting this is because it is interesting to hear a first person's perspective on Malaria & see how it relates to Babesia.

These were some of her symptoms:
1) Night sweats
2) Fatigue
3) Numb hands/arms and tingling
4) Nausea
5) Headaches
6) Fever

I wish that I had focused more on symptoms, but next time & I will update.
