Can you eat potatoes on a gluten free diet?
Thanks.

Yes.
Some prepackaged potatoes, like frozen bags or at a restaurant have been coated in flour so they don't stick when frozen. (if precut). Also some mixes with potatoes in them use flour to thicken. Why they don't use potato flour for potatoes is beyond me... Sigh.
But if you are doing them at home, they are gluten free.

Linky-just in case you ate potatoes, then wondered why your joints were sore or swollen...
Potatoes eggplants and (peppers?) are from the nightshade family, and sometimes cause inflammation.

Thanks Greta and tutu. I do ok on the potatoes, but wheat clogs up the works ie weight gain, feel sluggish etc.
Don't know if it's the gluten in it or what, but I was gonna try giving it up for a while and see what happens.

desert, I didn't really do abx, was allergic, so don't have to deal with yeast.
