Heavenly Father,
I ask You to bless my friends,
relatives and those that I care deeply for,
who are reading this right now.
Show them a new revelation of Your love and power.
Holy Spirit, I ask You to minister to their spirit at this very moment.
Where there is pain, give them Your peace and mercy..
Where there is self-doubt, release a renewed confidence through Your grace.
Where there is need, I ask you to fulfill their needs.
Bless their homes, families, finances, their goings and their comings. Amen.

Scripture unanimously testifies that "God raised Jesus Christ from the dead!" What does this mean for us today?
One, it means that you and I have a Heavenly Father who cares for us, for loves us, who forgives us and who blesses us daily.
Two, it means that you and I have Faith. What is Christian Faith? Christian Faith as a verb means only one thing and that is,
"Trusting God to do for us what we cannot do for ourselves." Dare God to do for you what you cannot do for yourself.
Three, it means that you and I have a glorious future. Because of the physical, bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ, you and I will also have a physical, bodily, and glorious resurrection of our bodies...we will be made perfect in the age to come!
That is why we sing, "The strife is over; the battle is won!"

can we laugh when in distress.. This is funny! Must read.
Miss Beatrice, the church organist, was in her eighties and had never been married. She was admired for sweetness and kindness to all. One afternoon the pastor came to call on her and she showed him into her quaint sitting room. She invited him to have a seat while she prepared tea.
As he sat facing her old pump organ, the young minister noticed a cut-glass bowl sitting on top of it. The bowl was filled with water. In the water floated, of all things, a condom! When she returned with tea and scones, they began to chat. The pastor tried to stifle his curiosity about the bowl of water and its strange floater, but soon it got the better of him and he could no longer resist. "Miss Beatrice", he said, "I wonder if you would tell me about this?" pointing to the bowl. "Oh, yes" she replied, "isn't it wonderful?
I was walking through the park a few months ago and I found this little package on the ground. The directions said to place it on the organ, keep it wet and that it would prevent the spread of disease. Do you know I haven't had the flu all winter!" The pastor fainted. I doubt that this is true but, I need to lighten up, my torture is draining me from remembering to laugh and sing aloud to the heavens

GOD'S "PHONE" NUMBER
Hello God, I called tonight To talk a little while I need a friend who'll listen To my anxiety and trial
You see, I can't quite make it Through a day just on my own. I need your love to guide me So I'll never feel alone
I want to ask you please to keep My family safe and sound. Come and fill their lives with confidence For whatever fate they're bound.
Give me faith, dear God, to face Each hour throughout the day, And not to worry over things I can't change in any way.
I thank you God for being home And listening to my call, For giving me such good advice When I stumble and fall.
Your number, God, is the only one That answers every time. I never get a busy signal, Never had to pay a dime.
So thank you, God, for listening To my troubles and my sorrow. Good night, God, I love You, too, And I'll call again tomorrow!
P.S. Please bless all my friends and family too.
Anyone that you love and care about. Let them know God is there for them.

A boy was sitting in a park bench with one hand resting on an open Bible. He was loudly exclaiming his praise to God. Hallelujah! Hallelujah! God is great! he yelled without worrying whether anyone heard him or not.
Shortly after, along came a man who had recently completed some studies at a local University. Feeling himself very enlightened in the ways of truth and very eager to show this enlightenment, he asked the boy about the source of his Joy.
Hey, asked the boy in return with a bright laugh, Don’t you have any idea what God is able to do? I just read that God opened up the waves of the Red Sea and led the whole nation of Israel right through the middle.
The enlightened man laughed lightly, sat down next to the boy and began to try to open his eyes to the realities of the miracles of the Bible. That can all be very easily explained.
Modern scholarship has shown that the Red Sea in that area was only 10 inches deep at that time. It was no problem for the Israelites to wade across.
The boy was stumped. His eyes wandered from the man back to the Bible lying open in his lap. The man, content that he had enlightened a poor naive young person to the finer points of scientific insight turned to leave.
Scarcely had he taken two steps when the boy began to rejoice and praise louder than before. The man turned to ask the reason for this resumed jubilation.
Wow! Exclaimed the boy happily, God is greater than I thought! Not only did He lead the whole nation of Israel through the Red Sea, He topped it off by drowning the whole Egyptian army in 10 inches of water!

Thank you payne, for the beautiful picture and prayer. I also am claiming my unexpected blessing for today....maybe it's that my grandson's baseball game was postponed since it has rained all day.
Last night our older grandson played in the rain. The temp is only in the 40's, so I am thankful to postpone it.
Pocono, that is a cute poem and so true. God is the only one who is always available anytime, anywhere. Thankfully He must have an endless capacity for listening and loving. I have been really filling His ear lately.
I loved the graphics also. The story about the boy on the park bench is awesome. I love it when God makes an indisputable point to people who try to discredit Him.

A preacher was completing a temperance sermon.
With great expression he said, “If I had all the beer in the world, I’d take it and throw it into the river!” The congregation nodded their approval.
With even greater emphasis he added, “And if I had all the wine in the world, I’d take it and throw it into the river, too!” . The people clapped and were saying “Amen.”
And then finally, he concluded, “And if I had all the whiskey in the world, I’d take it and throw it into the river!”
As he sat down, the song leader then stood up quite cautiously and announced, “For our closing song, let us sing Hymn #365: “Shall We Gather at the River.”
