I'd like to put a water purifier machine in that covers the whole house.
Has anyone does this?
I've very chemically sensitive and the city just replaced the pipes in the neighborhood.
The water now smells like plastic and chemicals, but I don't want to get a water purifier that adds more problems from new parts.
I'm scared to take a bath in this stuff (shower is not an option for me, so a shower head won't help).
Thanks.

Thanks Randibear.
Unfortunately a shower head is not an option (old house with an old bathtub, no real shower hook up and weird fixtures).
I'm looking for something to add directly to the main pipe. At least that's easy to access.
I'm going to brave a bath. I hate the smell of the water and just don't know what to do.

Ar you talking about a "Reverse Osmosis" filtering system?

Well, my neck broke out in hives after the bath. It's calm today. Definitely something bad in the water.
Lymetoo - Yes, it's like a canister. I've seen them before, but it was a long time ago and want to make sure it's MCS friendly. I thought maybe someone might have had experience with something like this.
hoping - I don't think it's a reverse osmosis system, but could be. It's for removing particles and debris. I thought reverse osmosis was just for saline, but not sure.
Dogsandcats - I'll see what they have at costco, thanks.
I can't really add anything to the water to make it better (epsom salt, essential oils and baking powder all irritate my skin).

Judie. I am interested in following this too. I worry about our water and would like a whole house system. Hope someone pipes in who has one. I think they are costly.
