TICK BITE REACTION - Not about lyme
Although lyme & other tick-borne infections could certainly go hand in hand and someone who has all allergic reaction could also have infection. So, it's disappointing that more journalists just don't even mention that.
Still, just about the meat allergy to the bite, some important detail:

Dr. Scott Commins describes alpha-gal allergy, which scientists believe is triggered by a tick bite and can cause a reaction to red meat.
