oh its a family movie. no swearing no boobs.
its the story of a marine lt col escorting the body of chance phelps back to dubois wyoming. how people treat him and react to seeing the flag draped coffin is heart wrenching.
one scene is him behind the hearse driving. a trucker comes by, sees the hearse and him and pulls behind him and turns his lights on. then it shows all these people lining up behind him with their lights on.
I jus squalled.....I've been all over that state and I know exactly where he was.
no, its definitely not an r movie.

Good. I refuse to watch movies with foul language. Deal-breaker for me. Just forget it.
Is this a new movie or out on DVD?

it's 2009 and stars kevin bacon. being very familiar with military and the Corps, he's absolutely perfect. he's slender anyway and with the military haircut and the bearing, he absolutely nailed it.
I think it's his finest performance. it's on several channels now and netflix. I think family video has it.
some would say it's depressing but I feel every american should watch this. well at least the families who serve. and I say families because we were taught the wives are just as important and serve in their own way.
I hope y'all will take the time to watch it.

I cried all the way through this movie. It was awesome.
I don't think it got the recognition it deserved.

Ok just found it on Amazon. It's not rated (NR). They have it via Amazon Instant Video, or you can buy the DVD.
