Suddenly in the last week, there has been a huge increase in the spam in one of my email accounts. I have just deleted 150 of them twice in one day!
What is going on???? And they are all from different emailers, but the messages are all about losing weight, Dr. Oz, or a friend has sent you blah blah blah.
I don't send spam directly to trash because now and then a legitimate message ends up there and so I have to scroll thru before emptying the spam folder.
Anyone else having this spam explosion?

Any time we sign a petition online or sign up on a new website that sells something, we WILL get spam.

Get a yahoo mail account use it for everything but friends and family. Keep one clean family only e mail account.

That is what I am doing, maddog. It is the account that is swamped with spam. It is also the account I use to join most forums.
