I feel and look bad.

I think my face has aged like 5 years in this last year.

is there any way to stop this aging ???? I always had a younger than my age looking face and now.... I hate to look in the mirror!

Hey Lisa,

Im dealing with the same thing. I started drinking matcha tea a month ago. It's supposed to be extremely high in antioxidants. I'm hoping this will help this.

Be well

Here's a few off the top of my head...

Sun Exposure
being sick
ongoing family problems
smoking
sugar
antidepressants
loneliness

I think these two are the most common for aging to fast>

Anxiety
stress

You need to find peace, take each day - one day at a time.

exercise and get plenty of sleep will also help greatly.

Lisa, I know the world we live in day to day is much different than the average person.

At some point, we just need to except ours life’s for what it is today. And hopefully will feel better in the future!

THnaks 2roads and steve.

I think losing weight very fast a few months ago did my face in too. 30 pounds in 2.5 months is just too much for skin to bounce back from , especially at my age

the word HAGGARD comes to mind, accent on HAG. haha

I gained some weight back now and it helped to stretch me out a little. I have always been a little vain I guess. time for reality. I just think people make faces at me like they can see me looking bad. makes me paranoid. Maybe I will take all the mirrors out of my house!

Removing mirrors can help since you're so vain!!! [Smile]

Your right about losing so much weight, that will do it on it's own.

I'd like to add Lyme to the aging list.

When I got reinfected last year, TONS of white hair sprouted all at once.

You can see the line where all the white hair has grown in a few inches against my normal hair. Nuts!

I asked my doc and she said Lyme does it. Your body just doesn't put the energy towards these things when you're battling Lyme.

It sucks. I just keep telling myself, I've always wanted highlights, now I don't have to dye my hair since I already have MCS.

I also saw it in a friend's face when she had a relapse. She aged 10 years in a week.

These reminders just tell us we aren't doing as good as we know we can be. I think that's why it hurts so bad.

I don't think it helps being female either.

There's so much pressure for our bodies to be a "project" that needs fixing even without Lyme.

As we age, we're suppose to dress older, but somehow make our skin and hair look younger. It's crazy.
