I posted this link to Pete Frates fb page...of Dr David Martz speaking about how he was diagnosed with ALS, had negative lyme tests, but eventually recovered with help from a Phila Dr who prescribed multiple long term antibiotics and found Lyme via PCR.
It may not be his personal page, but hopefully it helps get the word out.

I wrote a comment on the ESPN article about how many ALS patients I've noticed from New England and how it's also has the highest incidence of tickborne illnesses. It got 21 thumbs up. More than any other comment. People know somethings up.
One guy replied with a valid point. He said I was boring people with genetic and predisposition points. Which I probably was but 21 people agreed and read my little essay. Once you damage that myelin sheathe or the spinal cord, whether it be football or infection. It can be called whatever it wants. If it continues to degenerate, it's ALS, possibly getting worse from lyme. If it's damaged, it's MS. Mostly.

I've been posting ALS/Lyme links on ice bucket challenge videos that I "share" on FB.
Spreading the word.

- This is the best video, most honest, heartfelt and spirit enriching that I've seen in a very long time. This young man is simply amazing as is his mother (and likely his grandmother was, too).
Please watch it all the way to the end. It's well worth the time and attention. Scroll down a bit to click onto the cute guy in the funny bikini. (No, it's not like that!)
