I have medicare. I find I can't get testing done due to cost of my part of the plan.
I know several people at the apartment I live at have both medicare and medicaid...
I guess I need to show up in person at the local office to see if I can get medicaid. I have tried writing but have gotten no where.
I tried looking on line but my brain couldn't process what I needed to do or read it.
So, I know I read on one of the web sites that those who have secondary insurance are paying $300 to $500 for that.
I have $300 left after housing which I use for food and gas.
So paying $300 to $500 for secondary insurance is out.
What are you all paying for secondary insurance??

Kam... find someone to go with you to the office to see about Medicaid. You are BOUND to qualify.

I don't think so tutu...part of what i read said if you have medicare you don't qualify.
but then there are several here at the apartments that have both medicare and medicaid so a bit confused.
they do have disability though and I don't have SSDI
Something on the page said if i was under 65 I needed to have something
so some must have medicaid too as they are 65 and over
but one i think is younger but she has SSDI income i think

Ah the other one was approved for long term care that is why she has both medicare and medical or medicaid.
she also has 40 hours a week for caregiver hours because she was approved for long term care.
she is able to do much more than i am able to do.
but her medical records gave her the points she needed.
