A local family, whom I have met are in deep crisis.
Story: "There is a terrible life and death crisis going on right now at St. Paul's Hospital in Vancouver, involving Rose! www.facebook.com/…/The-continuing-fight-to…/657233034330644… Rose has recently returned from Baja Medgate, and has been in St. Pauls for several days now. As many of you are probably aware, one of the conditions Rose suffers from is Gastroparesis; Rose has had her stomach removed as a result. Unfortunately, the team in Mexico couldn't figure out her malabsorption issues, or her headache she's had since December 2013! She has dropped even more weight, and is down to approximately 65 pounds now!!!!! A supposed expert at the hospital accused Rose of having an "eating disorder," and ended up COMMITTING her!!!!!!!!Rose's mom, Tani, and stepdad, Gary fought this, and were able to have this lifted for the time being. The doctors there have paid no attention to Rose's positive test results for Lyme via IGeneX and CDC standards! Make no mistake, this family is living their worst nightmare right now! To add insult to injury, Gary has reported that for the first time in the 12 /13 years of Rose being sick, this is the first time she has given up hope! Not only am I asking you all to pray/ send positive energy for Rose and her family, but for anyone who can, to go and see her in the hospital. It is crucial that Rose feel some kind of hope if she is going to survive this! It is also crucial for some kind of intervention here. I have given Gary Dr. Z's contact info, as they are in desperate need of help anywhere they can get it! Please help Rose S.! She's at St. Paul's Hospital, Vancouver, B.C."
Please add her to your prayers/send positive thoughts for Rose.
Thank you!

Hi Bea, the link was taken down due to privacy issues with the commitment to a psych ward that occurred:
HERE's the UPDATE from a close friend of the family:
"YES!! Rose is home today! She received the flowers and her "cuddle bear" from the local lyme community just as they were leaving!
There's no improvement, but there's also no change for the worse. She's still one very sick young lady, and the problem with her lower gut and the "non absorption" issues have not changed, but they have allowed her to go home, under strict conditions.
Her weight is still way way way too low. I do not have any other info to share. I'm hoping when I do, it will be positive.
Please keep up the prayers, or the "thoughtful intentions" if one is not religious, some insight into why her body is not absorbing the food would be most welcomed, by all the medical staff involved. So glad you asked Canadian Mama!!
I will continue to share what I can, when I can. In the mean time, that you all, each and everyone. for the love. I'm certain Rose appreciates it. Thank you! Namaste'"
