I just got a bill from medicare which says I owe 267 to my doctor.

I've only been twice since april when I went on it. the bill said I am only allowed one visit per year!!!

wth is going on? does this mean that if I get sick or something I can only go once a year. this is ridiculous....

I've found if you call Medicare and be really nice, after a long "hold" on the phone, and ask them if you did something wrong or whatever (your fault), they usually can help you with that.

I have the basic medicare with tricare.

I hate this insurance crap....

Jus t plain ole office visit. One for uti An d one for sinus. Paper said I exceeded my one annual healthcare cbeckup. But I've never had a healthcare checkup.

OH... Maybe the dr's office coded it incorrectly. They may have coded it as another "checkup" when it wasn't.

Call them.

I would call the doctor’s office first, as Lymetoo said it could have been coded incorrectly.

did you ever have this done? - Medicare covers an Annual Wellness Visit (AWV) providing Personalized Prevention Plan Services (PPPS).

If you have Tricare as a secondary, they should pick up the difference from what Medicare pays. I have Medicare and Tricare too.

You get one well visit a year but if you are sick, they have to pay.
