This was talked about in another thread. It got me wondering how others experience and use it.

I said i just get a feeling or sometimes i feel like i have an angel sitting on my shoulder whispering to me

When my dad died it was an.unexpected shock and i was overwhelmed with my life and for five years i felt like he was really close just keeping an eye on me and occasiinally giving me a nudge

How does intuition or the same idea...maybe different name...affect you?

Ive been thinking about this since i started with new doc and changed my tx ... some of changes are to follow his instryctions...but im changing a bunch of other things too...just cuz it feels right

I stopped coffee cold turkey. He said it was bad for me and was preventing my body from.healing but he didnt tell me to stop it. I just did. No headache, no craving, just stopped

I have almost stopped using microwave. I have wanted to fir a long time but it has been too hard because of mobility and physical disabilites. But since home from doc i find other ways

Many times i think of a food-not necessarily a fattening or unhealthy food but when i think of it i get nausea feeling. So far i just skipped that food

Idk....im just wondering how it works for others

Exactly! It is my angel or spirit guide sending me the answer.

We unplugged our microwave and put it in the basement 2 years ago. I physically felt better as soon as we did it. People don't realize there is a price they pay for using it. It was no big deal to heat stuff up on the stove or in the oven.

I will trade the convenience of using a microwave over feeling a little better any day of the week.

Every single little thing I do for my immune system the better I feel. I have to do things to protect it whenever I can as I have so many co infections.

EMFs really are a huge issue for everyone. People either don't know much about them or don't want to believe it (convenience).

I seem to have lost contact with my intuition. In the past my intuition was just a feeling that something felt right or wrong. It was quick and instantaneous the moment I encountered something good or bad for me. Now, it just isn't as noticeable. I think gut feelings and intuition are so important. I hope to tap into that again.

I have a bug detecter ,while running the microwave it was going off.

I hung aluminum foil over the glass door!!

It stoped the leakage.

I never will use it without the aluminum foil.

Jamers i hope you get it back too. I never believed that much that it was that important to think positive thoughts...even if it feels like you are faking but now it does seem to be working for me

When i was really sick years ago i meditated. It started for pain relief but i soon realized the more i meditated the more intuitive i became

When i was sick it heped to listen to a tape that talked me thru the meditation

Take care of yourself

Wow, Kayak I was just about to write the same thing! Meditation and positive thinking have helped me so much. There is a really good book called: Creating With the Law of Attraction (Langan). It's not just any law of attraction book, it's REALLY GOOD!

until I fell so sick with lyme first time, I never thought about intuition.

I fell so sick that a little voice told me: 'your time arrived!'

I couldn't open my eyes anymore, so weak I got. I couldn't find any medical help, no lyme diagnosis, just full body weakness. Zero energy even to open my eye lids.

When I thought about my daughter, I told my inner voice: 'I want to see her grow, I will not go without a BIG FIGHT!'. So I could finally open my eyes, stand up, went to the internet, ordered Buhners book and started self treating.

When finally, I found a naturopath and a medical doctor who followed dr. K, and went to see them, I was taking about 40 different herbs and substances in a day.

I had read about them (Buhner's or Cowden's herbs), bought them, tried some, didn't fit, left them, tried others, they worked, and then I kept adding supplements and herbs. About 40 different stuff a day.

The naturopath laughed at my box, when she saw it. She thought I was crazy to take so many things. After 2 hours of ART (energy testing), her tone of voice changed, she just kept saying 'You'll be fine, don't worry, you'll see...'

She tested me energetically as she was dr. K's right hand in Germany and found out I had all tick infections she could test. She saw I was screwed up.

And can you imagine that 39 out of 40 different supplements SHE tested came out POSITIVE in HER tests!!!??

She had laughed about me, but I told her, without these bottles, i was not going to be able to come see her, so sick I was.

I didn't LOOK sick, BECAUSE of those 40 bottles! She didn't believe me, like all other doctors I saw before her in 3 different countries didn't believe me either!

So she RE-prescribed me my 39 bottles (the 1 bottle she didn't give me was I think, magnesium, that anyway, I kept taking later), plus more 10 different substances (for thyroid, etc), then lent me her KMT machine (microcurrent with rife frequencies), taught me EFT /MFT tapping.

In 2 weeks, I was feeling MUCH better. Still very ill, but feeling that I could win one day.

So, really, I do think we all have this intuition somewhere, the gut feeling.

That is EXACTLY how muscle tests work: you come close with a substance, your body rejects or accepts it!

How do animals find food and medicine? They follow their gut!!

We are also animals, and I know that intuition is part of us, of our brain, of our soul!

The talking to your father (Kayak) can be continued with some techniques. Dr. K. talks about that. He learned that with Bert Hellinger. Hellinger's book is wonderful, it is a big door to this world of ancestrals.

And Hellinger has such a positive attitude toward it, really focused on HEALING the soul and body, that I think it's one of the most important books I ever read.

It is almost unbelievable, to people that never had that feeling of presence, of connection to the invisible world of ancestrals. No one will believe you, if they never felt that!

The more you get tuned, the more all these invisible worlds communicate with you. It is almost like it is only your own imagination, until you see the effect on the physical or social world (your family members start acting different because of what you did in your 'imagination')!!

Absolutely, one needs a peaceful heart to start entering this world. You can't force it. It has absolutely a DIRECT relation to our health, to our physical bodies.

Without that intuition, I think I wouldn't be here, as I wouldn't be able to tune my own herbs before I saw finally a practioner who believed I was sick with lyme. How could I find 40 substances that supported my body?

I had to wait 3 months to see those guys who followed dr. K.! During those 3 months, I did all by intuition.

After I improved with muscle tests, I learned that on my own.

The more you get intuitive and use your intuition, the more it blooms, it sharpens. You start avoiding what is really bad, and going after what is good for you.

You can recognize in nature the plants you can consume to heal you, that is exactly how shamans in the past discovered new healing plants!

It's all inside each of us!

This topic should be in medical questions, then!!

Maddog, I'm not surprised as they all leak. Since I felt better after unplugging it, that convinced me how bad they are.

My intuition usually manifests as a sensation of anxiety about a specific food or event. And the anxiety gets worse and worse the more I think about the event or food, or the closer I get to encountering the food or event.

And once I make the decision to avoid the food or event, the anxiety stops immediately.

I just saw a small youtube video with Sri Ravi Shankar. I like to listen to some of his talks, he's a funny guy, who looks more like a woman than a man.

I guess, it's because he's gone through such an internal transformation, that he became what he is today...

A person asked him about 'What is negativity?'

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3sKaRlfBQlA

His answer was surprisingly something like:

'Negativity is when you think something appears to give you pleasure, but in fact, it gives you pain.'

Ex:

- Smoking: it appears to give you pleasure, but in fact, gives you pain.

- Talking bad things about someone, laughing at that person maliciously: it appears to give you pleasure, but in fact, it gives you pain.

I would add: Video games, any addictive behaviour or foods /drink / thoughts.

This small talk made me think about what is really INTUITION.

Intuition is the ability to distinguish between what is good and what is bad. It is not too simple to know that, as it seems.

Intuition is connected to life. And true pleasure can only be connected to life.

Think about wheat, junk foods, excess of sugar or alcohol.

They appear to give you pleasure, but do they really give you pleasure?

I guess that is what people are talking about here: as Kayak says, it can be just a meeting with someone, eating something, reading a book...

One of the gifts lyme gave me, was to tune my intuition better. I had to do that in order to survive!! as I was left alone, at start, to do my own treatment.

I truly think today that lyme GAVE me more than it took. It was like a lesson of life.

It kept screaming to me: "Now, you go by your gut feeling, girl, or you die!!!"

It was still fine when it concerned only myself, my own health. I could just go by gut feeling, make mistakes, that's my fault. Then, my daughter caught the worst infection of her life: TBE or FSME, the tick born encephalitis.

There I was, left alone again, to trust my own intuition to find her a treatment. This time, my mistakes could lead to permanent damage on another being, not on myself.

It was a very scary experience when I look back. A bit like an angry father trying to teach a bad kid about something, in an almost violent way, just because the parent wants the kid to be better.

It's just when you grow up, that you understand your father's 'bad' behaviour. Lyme and FSME were like that angry father to me. The gift I got though, it's priceless.

And I know this capacity to know what is good and what is bad is truly inside everyone. It's just a bit blurred due to wrong teachings, wrong behaviour, lack of opportunities to practice. Lyme gives you all the chances to practice!!!

Hmmmmm. Yes. Lyme put stuff in perspective for me. Its bad. So much about it makes me angry. But it also taught me to be greatful for gifts i do have. And reseaeching the way i had to to survive gave me way more life knowledge than my formal degrees

yes, these buggers have taken a lot of my natural intuition away. but it is slowly coming back (I think)

I think intuition is either not intuition- it's my Guardian Angel, or Holy SPirit. Or, for me, intuition is a gift you are born with. some have more than others, just like any gift. and it just comes from inside you. it is part of you. and it just "is".
