Are there many malpractice lawsuits for Lyme disease patients won on record? I haven't found any online.

- Your recent posts show your tests. While indicative of lyme, along with your symptoms (and maybe history) . . . without a full blown two or three tier CDC positive tests and maybe even a bulls eye that shines for miles, the chance is slimmer than slim.
Sorry. There have been one or two out there but they were glowing CDC positive and basic treatment still was denied. In one of the New England states, I think.
Yet, it's rare, time consuming and energy zapping when we really need to focus on the very practical matters at hand. -

Sunshine, unfortunately, you can't sue for stupidity. Years ago that was the situation. Now, with the IDSA guidelines in place, they support the idiots because the idiots wrote them to protect their butts.
Here is a link to some of the Lyme related legal cases so far. Note the one titled Cecil Teen. It may be the closest to what you are looking for. Keep in mind, since that time, to date, as far as I know, the child and his mother never collected a dime.
The slime doctor moved his practice and even today, or actually since last I heard, continues to shout IDSA RULES from the roof tops in a highly endemic Lyme region.
