Why am I not surprised?

But, like the author asked (and from what I read, never answered, unless I missed it); WHY? Seems to me it doesn't kill nearly enough people, nor quickly enough, to do governments any good. So why bother?

The same reason you shoot someone with a twenty-two Lymieloo. Wounding the enemy drains man power and resources.

If the enemies friend is already dead, the enemy focuses on you.

Debilitate enough of a population and resources will be wasted on caring for the sick, and limit the number of abled bodies that can fight back.

I agree. I've always thought I was a casualty of war.

Just sending this back to the top because I think it deserves to be there. Heck, post it under medical advice just so everyone can see it.

The old "don't believe everything you read on the internet" might apply here. This author has something of a conspiracy theory representative reputation. She lives in London.

Also could have been done to weaken cattle. I read that in WWII infected ticks were dumped over Russia to disable livestock. Tick research has been going on since 1909 and several countries have engaged in it.

Come on, Ann, surely you've read Lab257 or even Cure Unknown.

To say lyme was "made" in a lab is sheer nonsense and anyone claiming that definitely is extreme.

But to refuse to believe that these germs have been tampered with in the lab and not recognize that they have been the focus of bio-warfare for decades is to be really out of touch with reality.

I understand your concern because to be constantly focused on only the bio-warfare aspect undermines our push for recognition and legitimacy in the eyes of the public, and particularly with those closest to us.

REMINDER: Plum Island where there was a well known bio warfare lab across from LYME CONNECTICUT where children were getting sick from arthritis traced back to ticks from Plum Island. Hence the name LYME Disease.

Good find Lymetoo.

We know that infected ticks were released into the Bavarian region of Germany during WWII. Dr K is aware of that. The person in charge of that came over to run the Plum Island facility afterwards.

Could the approach be wrong? I mean the government has been infecting citizens for tests without consent for a long time.

Maybe when people think about syphilis and the African American men that were infected they have a tendency to think, "Well they were black, the government would never do that to us."

There are other cases I am aware of where we germs have been tested in the population. I can gather all of the links if people are interested.

Maybe there could be a separate area specifically for this information. Conspiracy seems to be a dirty word, as people think that people don't conspire against other people constantly.

It could be called something else.

I don't think there will be a separate area for this discussion, as it is one amongst many that we have on the board.

I agree with you re people thinking it will never happen to them, but the fact is, there's been a whole lot of it happening to various populations, including releases of infected mosquitoes.

I heard recently about a release in 1950 of an infectious agent off the coast of San Francisco. Many ended up in the hospital and one person died. The agent was called serratia marcescens. The army wanted to test it. How bout that?

I'd like to say unbelievable Robin. If I knew another country I could go to I'd go. I think this kind of treachery is world wide though.
