I keep loosing exactly one half of my eyesight in both eyes. I cannot see to the left.

It lasted today for 3 hours sometimes getting much better then getting worse.

All I can see is a flickering like looking through a clear reflector.

And I am off balance.

They call it TIA strokes.

Brain scans show nothing.

Blood work is negative for the regular stuff.

HELP!!!!!!

Are you able to take aspirin or anything else to thin your blood?

Can you take something like Rutozym or Wobenzyme?

You have to do something since it appears that your doctors aren't.

Will pray for you, MADDOG!

Hi Lymetoo
I was put on an aspirin each morning a week ago.

When it started today I chewed two more and put them under my toung .

It still happened and now I am to see a neurologist within 24 hours.

I bet this is LYME or Babbs. doing this.

I got a new bottle of Bicillin and did a big shot half an hour ago.

I had not been treating myself again.

Don't forget to protect your stomach now that you are on aspirin. UGH...

Glad you are seeing a neuro ..

Infections do make our blood thicker.

Take good care of yourself!

Optic neuritis? Lyme in/near optic nerve...similar to how it causes bells but different nerve

Years ago i lived in very endemic plac and many young horses were getting optic neuritis abd vets couldnt figure it out

Eventually they linked it to lyme...it is well known now so neuro should figure it out(if his brain is working)...neuros dont have a history of helping us much

Praying you see a good one and get this resolved

Someone told me blood clots could be an issue. Better get yourself checked out.

Also, I really like turmeric as an anti-inflam in general - seems to get to my inflam - I get it in bulk at the health food store and dip 00-size capsules into it.

Mangosteen juice still is THE supplement that keeps my eyes healthy.

And, I know we're all different and need to seek out our answers.

Hi Everyone

Thanks for your support and info!!!!

I had more test done yesterday. I have to see my family regular doctor tomorrow for results.

I had a ultrasound of my carottid arteries.

They already did two brain cat scans.

They found no cats or brains. HE HE !!

The neural doctor can't get me in till January.

My regular doctor I hope can pull some strings and get me in sooner.

I hope my arteries to what brain I have left are not plugged.

Hi Maddog. So sorry for what you are experiencing! What you are going through sounds much worse than this, but I have had some 'ocular migraines' in the past that caused me to temporarily lose vision in one eye with a large 'blind spot' in addition to seeing something flickering to the side - that was like a kaleidoscope or fast ferris wheel going around.

These episodes would pass within about a half hour for me but I think I would have visual changes for days before the actual migraine attacks. I had no new head aches with these episodes, but just my usual head pressure.

I don't know if this helps at all, but I figure the more information you have, the better. Best of luck to you. I am glad you are getting things checked out and they didn't find any brains or cats with your testing. [Wink] [bonk]

No cats or brains!

Reminds me of when my hubby had a cat scan when he was having severe headaches....

The nurse called to say what the results were : There's nothing there"

We have laughed about it ever since "What? No brains?"

Hoping your results are all good.

Glad you've been OK for a few days now!
