sorry for spelling. jus read that zika virus can cause guillain barre. apparently it attacks the neurological system. cases of guillain barre are increasing already. women who are not pregnant are at risk also. 32 cases of zika in houston already. we were thinking of a trip but have said no way. having lyme is bad enough. travelling to these areas is jus a crap shoot and I'm really unlucky. cdc is saying there is no cure for zika. our friend's daughter got guillane and almost died. she still has side effects and uses a cane. -------------------- do not look back when the only course is forward

Saw a report today that the area where the virus began is the same area the GMO mosquitoes were released last year. Thank you, Monsanto. -------------------- --Lymetutu-- Opinions, not medical advice!

Lymetoo, where was that? I thought the genetically modified mosquitoes were released in the Florida Keys. I'd be interested in reading what you read. Do you have a link to that?
