Whewhp. Just got back from outing with friend and furry friend.

Piney has not been able to get out much for about 3 weeks now due to an injury.

I had forgotten how much it takes out of me to be around people and do the multi tasking that is needed.

Plus loading power chair, unloading, loading and unloading.

Looking forward to an outing in the forest where I drive in the car, park under a shade tree and let Rosie out for some off leash time.

Friend looked for Rosie's water dish in my car. She was not able to find it either. I will need to put rosie's other water dish in the car...the one I use to hang on the power chair when I was able to be out longer in the power chair...way back when.

Had several cars pass us by today....we were there later than usual...but it also could be because more people are using that road now and there are several homes in the area too....at least one truck that passed us was going to one of the homes in the area.

Another vehicle stopped and said...is that Rosie? My face recognition skills are still not working so do not have a clue who that was that knew Rosie.

Bottom line is if friend wants to go later now instead of at sunrise...we need to find a safer place for the dogs and us.

rosie's hearing is not what it use to be and she does not know those cars could hurt her.

Plus, my hearing is not good nor are my multi tasking skills or being able to think quick to get her out of harms way.

kam

got cat fed and dog and litter box cleaned out when i got back. resting now. then i will get up to see about getting breakfast and taking pills.

rest of day most likely will be in bed or recliner playing mindless games or watching a movie.

Kam--Thanks for starting this week's thread.

Glad you got an outing with friend and her dog even though I know it is hard for you.

I walked 30 minutes in the sunshine. Back to wearing winter jacket, cap and mittens today.

After I finish this load of laundry I am driving to my folks for a few days.

Blessings to you all this week.

safe travels hiker. Sun is good.

I need to get some vit d supplements as do not get enough sun.

had fleece, coat, mittens and hat on during today's early morning outing too. we tried to stay out of the shade but not usually do able.

it would be nice out now if it were not for the icy wind.

That wind has been cold here too, Kam! It was 33 this morning and I had to wear my heavy coat and a scarf. I haven't had to do that in a LONG time.

It's nice and sunny, so that is good.

Saw a little chickadee and a titmouse sneaking peanuts this morning. Then just now as my husband was leaving for his show rehearsal, we saw a HUGE crow sitting on the balcony ledge. He left me a nice "deposit."

That's reason number 2 for NOT having a bird feeder. [Wink]

We had several visiting kids at children's church today. They were cute. Looking forward to lots of kids on Easter Sunday when they get to have their Resurrection Eggs. Gotta get those finished up on Wednesday morning.

Have a good day, everyone!

Sunday-Looked at the house with Josh. It was charming but needs some work. He's going tomorrow to see if he can get pre-approved for a home loan.

We went for our walk today. It was windy and cold so both of us only did a mile.

Kam-Glad you were able to get some fresh air and sunshine today.

Hiker-Have a good time with your folks!

TuTu-I saw another beautiful red cardinal today at the house that Josh is looking at.

See you all tomorrow!

Monday-No exercise today due to fasting for colonoscopy tomorrow.

Went to chiro who did emotional release via muscle testing again. Tonsils (not getting my way) and throat (confusion) that occurred August 2015. Well, that would figure! That's when I had to leave and move in with my Mom. It's amazing that they can do that!

I know I received a huge shock back then but didn't realize how badly it's effected me. Those emotions were cleared via talking.

Tested positive for virus homeopathic. So am starting that today. And did very little structurally. Still to jacked up for that work.

Am hopeful that my treatments will help me.

I hope everyone has a great day. It's cold and windy here.

Yes hiker. Safe travels. Hope they are doing well and you have a nice visit. When you guys get back to exercising regular yo get riggt back up to what you were doing so fast. My body is so messsed up. It doesnt get stronger with exercise the way its supposed to. I know exactly what is supposwd to happwn physiologically and it diesnt do it. Its that exercise intolerance or post exercise malaise they talk about. So frustrating. I kbow its based in mitochondrial problem and i know some supp that help me survive but i never get stronger. So frustrating. At least i know all the monement i did in my life wasnt my imagination cuz it showed in my new mri

I didnt get to church like i wanted. When i said they had a late service i meant 11....they have 9and11. I couldnt get out of house til one...so went to beach and really surprised myself by using walker and walking around the big parking lot with only one sit down short rest. Etta had a ball running circles around me on a 20' rope. Then i dozed and read for hours. It was good for me. Wind was right. I was surprised how small waves were with the storm coming.

We have about two inches. It must have gine out to sea. I was dreading the wet foot they forecast at first

Kam i hope thibgs get better for you now that spring is here. You put some really uplifting posts on fb all the time and i enjoy them

Sunny here. I took mom and dad's car to the car wash and then walked 30 minutes.

I bought a new pair of trekking poles yesterday. I love the current ones I have but the company went out of business and the rubber attachments at the bottom are worn through. Of course, no other company makes "feet" that fit my poles.

Am enjoying my visit with my folks. Mom still spoils me with good food and wine.

Reading and taking a nap this afternoon.

AK-thinking of you today and hope all is well with colonoscopy

I did walk yesterday but toxic again today. Think I still have a bit of an ear infection. Going back to energy healer tomorrow to try and kill the rest off. Hate to go on antibiotics.

Ear infection was my first Lyme symptom (rarely had them as a child) and I haven't had one since the Lyme started 13 years ago. Pray this is the end! Some people say symptoms go in reverse. Don't know if that is true, but I will be optimistic.

Managed to vacuum the upstairs and mop the kitchen and bathroom floors. Went to the grocery store and am wiped.

Lovely drive through farm country on the way back from my parents. I took the road less traveled due to the high winds. Hate passing trucks in the wind.

Took my car in for oil change and tire rotation. Sheesh--price has gone up. The service guy looked at me like I was crazy when I wanted to buy a quart of oil to keep in my trunk. I have premixed antifreeze in my trunk, too.

Walked about 1.5 miles. Snail pace as I was fighting wind. Thank goodness for trekking poles.
Quite warm today--almost 70. Chance of snow tomorrow night--LOL Tis spring.

When I was driving the rural roads yesterday I passed a church with a sign that said...

"3 nails
1 cross
4 given"

Powerful message for holy week.

Blessings to all for a great day.

hiker...i passed one that said have you made God smile today?

Drove Rosie 3 miles out of town west, truned off on a drit raod and let her stretche her legs while I drove a bit, parked the car, she explored a bit...cold out...then she ran a bit more on the raod back...i think I just went in .2 mile.

Typing this with eyes closed.

Lady came and did more filing. She also called a couple of companies I have credit with to set up auto pay. They will be sending me the paper work for that.

I watched a movie called Machine Gun Preacher. Wow.

I was able to call the local np's office and make an appointment for tomorrow. I went ahead and started taking the abx I had from when I had a UTI in the past.

It helped. 2nd day of taking what i think is generic biaxin.

Enjoyed reading everyone's posts. Hope AK and LP are doing OK today.

Kam .. don't forget to take probiotics when you take the abx.

Yesterday I did 24 min on the machine and 16 laps.

I went to church this morning and we worked on the Resurrection Eggs. (If you want to see what that is, just google it. You can even buy them at Wal Mart)

Got them all done. I just hope we have enough! We have enough for 25 kids. (it's a dozen eggs each) Our normal kid count is about 6-8 .. but for Easter we have lots of visitors, including grandkids of our members)

So .. hope we are ready! [Smile]

Hubby and I went to the nearby city after that. I had to get some organic chicken and he had to buy reeds. Got home and I went to take the food donations from church to the food pantry and mailed an angel pin to a customer.

Whew! I think I need to rest!!

I do think the new medicine for MCAS is working. Let's hope.

more productive morning than planned. I was pushing it.

Got gas in the car and Rosie had her short off leash time.

Stopped by mechanics on the way back to get estimate of what it would cost for the front end repairs.

$2,000.

Walked into doctor's office but was fading fast.

I was better after I laid on the table in the small waiting room. After we waited awhile, Rosie went to the door and did her woof....I laughed.

I told her I wanted out of there too.

resting now. Next outing will be this afternoon to pharmacy.

Had air hunger due to over doing it this am. Since I live in the moment, I forget why I need to listen to my body and stop before it gets to the point I get scared and it takes me awhile before breathing is OK again.

did not tell doc about air hunger. Most are not aware of what babesia can do to you.

Can not recall which abx she is putting me on. Hope it is not one of the bad ones I just read about.

Tutu...taking the probiotics but need to find a way to keep the bowels moving....probiotics stops that...at least the ones I am taking now.

Taking a colon cleanse but it stopped working when I started the probiotics.

Also eating Beanito chips as they usually help too but so far nada.

TMI! I know. Just thinking via the computer. Carrot juice would help in the past. And detox tea.

need to get to store when able. Need to charge food needed as the bank acct is too low for food.

Thursday-Colonoscopy put me through the ringer! Between the fasting and drinking the Miralax spent most of Monday in the bathroom up until 3 am. Then had low blood pressure issues from the anesthesia until yesterday.

Had lab work and preop yesterday and have been battling a bad headache since Tuesday night.

Going to chiro and hope he can help.

See you all tomorrow!

Energy healer released toxins. It really never seems to end. Call me the Toxic Queen.

I did manage to go eat eggs and bacon with a dear friend and then went to trusty Farm 'N Fleet to get a pair of black jeans on sale. Couldn't handle the stimuli of more errands.

Rode a little bit on the exercise bike to help remove the toxins. May hop on again later.

Have church tonight. We take turns sitting in church between 8 P.M. and 8 A.M. to symbolize that Jesus is not alone on the cross. Very emotional time in a fairly dark sanctuary with the crown of thorns laid on the altar. We come one or two at a time for an hour and it is very quiet.

AK--Hope you bounce back quickly. I keep putting off my colonoscopy. The last one I had ended in a nightmare with the idiot MD tearing the rectum a tiny bit and I had to have surgery. He never owned up to it being his fault and I could not prove it in court.

Kam--bummer about the car. Cars and houses are so much maintenance. Hope you get to feeling better. Too funny about Rosie "woofing" at the MD.

Kam .. maybe you can take the probiotic less often . .just get them in somehow. Some of them constipate me, some don't. Hope you find one that's OK for you.

Was this the PCP you saw today??

Hiker .. the church time sounds really meaningful. We will have Maundy Thursday services tonight with choir and Holy Communion.

I went to exercise today and did 25 min on the machine and 20 laps. Working my way UP! I could do more if my hip would cooperate.

AK .. glad your scope is finished. I've been putting mine off too because the last time I had one I went into A-fib. It was not a good scene.

Where's kayak?

it will work out LP. Just breathe.....teehee...tell myself that all the time.

I am done in but it is 9 am. Time to be done in.

Able to drive out to the trailhead and let Rosie out to do her business. Usually, can not drive that far on the dirt road so doing better than most mornings.

did not want to move this am but Rosie did not want to be indoors.

We kind of have a routine going. I park the car and recline in the drivers seat. She goes and explores the area.

Then when she is ready, comes back to the car and does a woof thing.

I close my door and start up the car. she takes off on the dirt road. She loves to run while I drive the car on the dirt road.

Tried to get more of the boxes that are in front of the bookcases sorted thru. making progress but it just does me in. 5 or 10 min does me in.

Had help with putting things away.

Bookcases need decluttering and organizing too.

Seems like I did something else but can not recall.

Sent email to vet to make an appointment. They sent me their telephone number. Asked again if we could do this via email as I can not usually do phone conversations.

Caregiver called neuro that was recommended. First one recommended moved to CA.

2nd one is no longer taking new patients.

So plan C for neuro.

Had to interact with caregiver to get both of these jobs done.

Caregiver called a vet but said they just had someone with my name with two different breeds than rosie....caregiver called the wrong vet.

there is another person with my name in my town....i run across her a lot...small town..have yet to meet her.

Have gotten her medication a couple of times when I was going to walgreens. Stopped going to walgreens.

Kam--I can just picture Rosie running along the dirt trail. I used to have a dog that loved to run and he also pushed a soccer ball all around the back yard. (and ate my ripe tomatoes)

lp--taxes are a pain. Just wish we had a flat tax with no deductions etc.

Tutu--Hope church was good last night. We have the traditional foot washing service, but I always skip that part as I have toenail fungus. I am sure Jesus doesn't care but the parishioners might. LOL

Walked 20 minutes with my new trekking poles today. Not quite as good as my old ones, but I am going to save the older ones for when I need them at work. The new poles will be great if I travel as they shrink enough to fit into a backpack.

Still feeling toxic. The energy healer ruled out Lyme toxins, pesticides, and insecticides, and vaccines so I will now ask about mold toxins or gluten.

Gluten does not seem to upset my stomach or cause skin issues so I am not as careful as I should be. My mom has celiac disease and I do have the genes, but the antibody tests always came back normal. MD at Mayo said to avoid gluten. Too much corn and too much dairy bother me. Especially corn.

AK--how are you today?

Corn is really rough on me too, hiker. Say, Thieves oil should work on your toenail fungus. I can no longer use oils, but when I could I got rid of a very mild fungus by applying it after my shower each day and then at bedtime. All was resolved in no time.

Kam .. Glad you are aware of your double so you can avoid getting mixed up with her .. esp with MEDS!! Yikes.

Yes, probiotics should make your tummy feel better. It has what it needs so you can digest things.

We had a very meaningful Good Friday service this afternoon. I really love the traditions we have developed for this service.

Hubby went for his rehearsal .. ONE WEEK till the show opens! [Smile]

LP--Thinking of you. Just one step at a time. And more steps on the beach!!

The teen who does yard work for me came over today and raked all the burs (seeds) from the sweet gum tree. Filled several huge trash cans.

I mowed the front yard and then just had him use the electric trimmer on the high spots in the rest of the yard. He will mow the whole yard next weekend.

Did a bit of cooking and some laundry. Can't believe my spring break is almost over.

after a good sleep i organized tax stuff i could take to beach and we headed down about noon wind was good we visited with a woman with her new adopted rescue dog named faith she looked like she had some australian shepard but the woamn said she was told it was border collie sweet dog

ettta played on long leash and i walked and rested...walked and rested for an hour then we settled down and i got a lot more work done on taxes i have sort of a plan in my head so it will be easier next year...but i havent used it for the first 3 months...its really best when everything
goes thru one place...my cheking account...no more credit cards for any deductions but i have to print out amazon invoices every time time too

so...air is good again tomorrow morning and i hope i can fall asleep early and get up early and head on down to beach where they have the sunrise service...i probably wont be able to walk to where they are but i ll drive as cloe as i can...we ll see

hope everyone has a wonderful day tomorrow i hope next year i will be well enough to get to my sons house

Glad you were able to get some sleep, LP. I hope you feel better soon. Relax a bit and try to take it one step at a time.

Last year I was unable to attend Easter services due to being very ill. I'm so grateful to be able to attend this year. Looking forward to it. The church will look amazing. We went to Easter Vigil and the flowers were brought in when the service was over. They are gorgeous.

LP...

The difference between Australian Shepherds and border collies is that Australian Shepherds do not have tails. (to speak of)
