- Yet, the CLA in free range / grass grassing cattle can be essential for our nerve fibers. I have a guess that it may not be so much about meat as about the source of that meat, how the animals are raised, tended, etc.
That matters greatly -- and that many people don't get the majority of their food from the plant kingdom (as that does matter, of course, for all the colorful antioxidants & other key nurients, etc.).

- TuTu,
Thanks for that extremely comprehensive article with such great charts. It just goes on and on (in a good way). Scrolling down, I found so much great information, especially:
Table 1 Drugs that Can Induce Polyneuropathies
[It's about time that information started to get out.]
and scrolling WAY down:
". . . Autonomic Symptoms
In some polyneuropathies, typically in SFN, autonomic fibers are also affected. In these disorders, a variety of autonomic symptoms may be present, although certainly the most dramatic and incapacitating is orthostatic hypotension, which causes postural light- headedness, syncope, or both.
However, orthostatic hypotension typically occurs only with advanced autonomic involvement. . . ."
That's really important for anyone with lyme, too.
Surprised to see lyme listed (as it sound be, of course).
Also surprised to see porphyria listed (also as it should be) as so many doctors are just clueless about it, too. And many with lyme should be aware that porphyria can be a factor with lyme, or at least "secondary porphyria" so to speak.
what type of M.D. tests for PORPHYRIA? Includes detail about: HPU / KPU . . . . -

- For those with lyme, one major hiccup in that article is the advice of Medical Treatment with corticosteroid therapy. For those with lyme, this is very important to avoid - explained here:
Topic: TINNITUS: Ringing Between The Ears; Vestibular, Balance, Hearing with compiled links - including HYPERACUSIS
OTOTOXICITY discussed. -

- Also important to keep in mind, not addressed at all in the article, if a Rx is absolutely vital there are some support methods that might be of help:
