Hey Maddog,

Just saw and responded to your email before coming here to clear my head. And yes, you are right- that sucks! BIG time!

But really, I think we will be ok. If needed and no other options, you could always "borrow" a dog. And you have insurance now too. (NOT for the dog, but for you.)

And aside from info on email I just sent you, you have LOTS of friends here, so I would not be concerned. Well, maybe a little bit at first, but there are ways to take care of it.

It is unsettling though, and I feel your concern. I went over 20 years with no Lyme treating doctor and I can still beat you in a canoe race and catch more fish than you can too! HA!

Yes, I am laughing. A LOT!

[lol]

Turtles? Good grief!

Better you than me! I'm not quite hungry enough to wrestle an animal that will bite my arm off if given a chance, just to have a meal. TV dinners work for me!

You do know when you cut the turtle's head off it will continue to wiggle around and act goofy? That's freaky and messy.

Kind of like the IDSA. HA!

I want to see pictures since I can't have a taste of that soup.

Good luck and be careful!

First try I put cheap tuff beef on the hooks and put them on the bottom.

The crawdads ate the beef leaving the cartilage.

I have to suspend the bait off the bottom to prevent the crawdads from eating the bait.

Ha, now I am putting chicken legs in crab traps to get the crawdads.

I will have a craw fish boil!!!!

That will teach them to leave my turtle bait alone.
