Well man, there is a really small number of cases when David beats the Goliath. However we always hope for the final result to be in the favor of David. The thing nowadays is that a lot of people dismiss or just refuse to believe in the gravity of some diseases. It is not only about lyme, it is about a lot of others. The problem which i see in this lawsuit is that the required sum of money is just exagerated a bit. Exactly the same thing when i was sued by the former employee of defamation. He requested 150k. I found a defamation lawsuit consultation online. We lost the case as i recognized my fault, but the sum was decreased to 25k, do you even imagine?

Just to be clear - this was a suit filed by a doctor/researcher who said the CDC did not adhere to an implied-in fact contract concerning a test.
This is not the case filed by Lyme disease patients against doctors/researchers in Texas - a case we have been followinging for a long time - and which TC has kept us up to date on.
"The U.S. Court of Federal Claims properly dismissed Dr. Sing Hang Lee’s claim that the CDC breached an implied-in-fact contract
because he didn’t plausibly allege that the agency made an offer for his test in exchange for the agency’s endorsement,
the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit said in a nonprecedential decision.
