Hey everyone! Hope the weather is good where you are.

Sure miss Kam .. I'll try to bring a report to you from her.

My children's sermon went well this morning and my husband asked me to do it for the second service even though we didn't have kids there! So I guess he liked it! [Big Grin]

I'm off to take a nap and will probably go to his show tonight.

hope your hubs is feeling better tutu. my worker worked two hrs yesterday and was four hours late today. it looks like he estimated wrong and didnt have me buy enough siding for even the first wall so it wont be finished today and he cant come back til wed when i have an all day mold doc appt...probably my last...but i want to get her take on the final testing

this guy is a good man and he works with my anxieties and uses products i want blah blah blah that most guys wouldnt...but the 3 day job is on its 5th day (i do pay him by hour so that isnt issue)...and it seems it will will go to 6 and 7th day as well...

he does good work and charges what i can afford...but so many personal things going on raising 6 boys and his disabled wife unable to drive or do much else i guess.

i am going to look around and see if there is anyone willing to work with me because this job is only about 1/4 done.

on a better note...i was SOCIAL yesterday! doesnt happen often i drove about 40 min south to last beach town before massachusettes and grandson drove up from boston i bought him a nice bday dinner and we had a good conversation..my speech is still very impaired...mostly from memory and word retrieval...but he is very low key and we really had a great time. his parent s are 8 hrs away and busy with jobs...so i hope he will be a family connection for me. he is making friends at work too...we were concerned about that cuz hes so quiet...but he is settling in...there might be more chance his parents will come this way for holidays now too...we'll see!

i remember from yesterday ak has been busy cleaning and has special company coming...hope that goes well...and hiker be chomping at the bit for summer vacay...its almost here.

see ya later

LP--so glad you got to see your grandson.

I did odd jobs outside and inside today. My neighbor got out his extension ladder and re-nailed part of the steel siding that attached to the gutters for me and got my bike down from the hangers in the basement. I had a nice conversation with his wife while he worked.

She was very interested in the Sawyer spray as Howard had the bull's eye rash last year. I just ordered some from Amazon, so when it comes tomorrow, I will just give her a bottle. They do so much for me. Nice to chat with her as I see Howard more often than her.

I am washing my down comforter and my winter jackets. Figure since it is 82 out I won't need them anymore. Got out my shorts and put away most of my winter pants/jeans.

I also managed a 20 minute walk.

I have 2 days left of school. Tomorrow we are taking 250 7th graders to the bowling alley which also has mini-golf and sand volleyball. Once I get my group on the bus I am going to drive separate as I am not sure I can stand the noise. Then we will eat lunch in park that adjoins the school and play kickball, basketball etc. Supposed to be mid 80's tomorrow.

I am hoping it does not rain on Tuesday as predicted. The kids only come for 3 hours, but we do outside activities like tug of war etc. I really don't have much to do if we have to be inside, except show a movie.

I have most of my school work done, but still need to put away some items in the room and do some tech stuff Tuesday afternoon with the rest of the staff at meetings.

Have a super week. [Cool]

Im sorting thru recent labs before mold doc appt wed. I have some wb bands reacting. First time in over 5-6 yrs. I also have some crazy high inflammation test scores. One is questionable because the lab has had a bunch of crazy results recently

I slept well but havent gotten much done today. Working on bills etc...its slow going. I have been feeling pretty bad lately so maybe the test results make sense

Monday-Another sluggish day. Sitting around and going to watch a chick flick-Enchanted April. Made my salad already for dinner so no cooking today.

Feeling run down so taking a break today.

See you all tomorrow!

Students were very good at the bowling, mini-golf, sand volleyball outing. I forgot my sunblock and after one hour by sand volleyball my skin was fried.

Went to chiropractor after work and am going to take it easy and drink lots of water. Am taking my aloe vera plant and using the juice to soothe my burned skin.

One more day of work--I can do this!

[woohoo] [woohoo] School is out for the summer. I am sitting in my clean classroom waiting for my computer to reimage (they installed windows 10) and I can't leave until it is done--an hour or two.

Hopefully I will have enough energy to put down some more grass seed after I rake a soily area in the yard tonight. But if not, it can wait.

I am sleeping in tomorrow, I hope, although my internal alarm clock will probably get me up at the usual time for work.

Awesome, hiker!! I know the relief you feel!!

I can't believe they downloaded Windows 10! UGH!!

One of my friends said Windows 10 just took over their computer last week. They kept saying no to the "upgrades" and suddenly it did it anyway. I fear that will happen to me!

Big rains here today. Had hoped to make a quick run to the city after exercising, but decided not to.

Going to see a new show this evening.

Tuesday-2 1/2 hours of clipping/hack sawing bushes, picking up limbs and reconfiguring stone border around mailbox. Wiped out. Took Advil and got a couple of Turkey tacos for dinner. Time to veg.

TuTu-Awesome about children's sermon. I would occasionally do children's story at church back in the day. Something I really enjoyed.

Hiker-Oh sweet freedom! Josh has until Thursday. Kids haven't been there this week so he's prepping for next year.

Kayak-Inquiring minds would like to know what you're going to do for inflammation.

Going to be evil and have some coconut milk ice cream. It's chocolate too, so double evil.

Later gang!

Enjoy that ak....you already burnrd the calories frim the sound of it

First of all...re inflammation...there is a chance the lab screwed up on one test...i dont know if doc will know tomorrow when i go.

But i dont know what i will do...and it has me concerned. Ive been working on house for a few days but i keep thinking...i dont want a heart attack...and i dont want the cancer back....

I m seriously much worse off than i was a year ago when i started mold tx and i hardly did any! I tried but never got to full dose of two meds...and got way worse

Last week i decided not to go to chiro anymore and today i decided not to go to cranial anymore

I doubt if i will go back to mold doc but i do want to hear what she says...

Primary, gi and pulmonary are all useless...but at least i have them if i end up in hosp...

I like my gyn!?!

I dont know what im gonna do...i want to eat healthy and sleep good and figure out how to breathe good air...i want to play with my flowers and kayak and ride....

So...we ll see.

Have fun tinite tute!

Enjoy your summer hiker!

Unable to sleep in--drat! Got up and ran 4 errands--library, hardware store, bank, and to get probiotics.

Also watered the garden as the rain did not come as predicted and may not come today.

Carpenter bees are busy making Swiss cheese out of the pergola. Right next to the deck and the patio is below the pergola. May have to sit outside awhile and use my tennis racquet.

My neighbor promised to come over with this ladder and spray them this week. We use WD40 and then will need to plug the holes. Surprisingly WD40 works and the can has a long attachment so you can be at arms length when you spray.

I think I need a power nap before lunch

Wednesday-Up early to go to chiro. He adjusted my back and really worked on my bad left arm. Said it's a mess which I know. He encouraged me to stretch it and use it more.

Like Kayak though it hurts when I use my shoulder too much. Recently bought a therapy cane from Amazon and have been using that on trigger points in the area.

For exercise today I'm doing a lot of cooking. Six cod fillets and eight chicken breast halves. Already made a batch of fresh brussel sprouts and stir fried some zucchini.

Making the family some country fried steak, instant potatoes/gravy and some of the zucchini.

My Mom has a cold so I'm helping her too. Bought her some generic zicam and airborne. Sure hope it will help her feel better soon. We're picking up her brother in Atlanta this Friday.

Kayak-I know what you mean about wanting to get better. Sounds like I went gang busters yesterday but I had to work really slow. It can get really discouraging when treatments aren't helping. Like you said, nutrition, sleep and quality breathing are all a step in the right direction.

I've always wanted to kayak. Can't ride horses anymore because I've fractured my pelvis and tailbone from accidents. It'd be so fun if we can all get together and have an adventure!

Hiker-I had to battle carpenter bees in the country. What I ended up doing is filling the holes and painting the wood. Then the pesky suckers went underneath my porch. It was a never ending job. Good luck!

Off to check on my Mom!

Tutu...yes. i replied on the thread

Bummer hiker. Are those the kind of bees that look like bumble bees but live in wood? We call those borer bees. Im told they dont sting but im still afraid of them

Ak...we have so much in common...i fractured my pelvis too and put out my si twice. Once was fromgetting bucked off the pony i rode in nj. That was the first fall in 25 yrs. I rode after the pelvis fracture...ohhhh. i wanna ride again

It was 88 in a city an hour from.me. worker has been working since 11. Early i went and bought him materials. Then big truck broght more

I spent 3 hrs prepping for doc appt. She changed it to phone consult cuz they are getting driveway paved and the entrance i would have to use has many stairs

We talked for 1.5 hrs. Draining. I took notes and tried to understnd what she said. It helped that i prepped. I have a 3 page chart showing my 3 blood draws in last yr...there should have been four. Over 25 tests i think

I think she said two tests went wy up and that suggests new mold exposure. Im afraid its from.cars outside...and there is nothing i can do about it

Two tests showed it us unlikey it is lyme and two suggest my immune system is working better

All in all she thinks its good...but its hard fir me to be happy when day to day i feel so bad

She wants me to use silica to try to detox more aluminum

Also ask gi doc if i can.use metamucil...she thinks that will get gi track more normal and then i can figure out how much welchol i cantolerate even if it is one a week. Also charcoal as they detox different thungs

Theres more...oh...she agrees i should get stress echo even tho some of the bad test results can cause the severe lack of energy i have

I know theres more but im exhausted and need to veg now. Later tinight i will get two ac in front of of windows so worker will lift them up for me before he starts tomorrow

And i ll try to write out a plan so i can start doing what im supposed to do.

She will send me everything we talked about in writung

I also have to take the really bad test again cuz if the result is correct it is very dangerous. I m pretty sure the lab did it wrong....but they insist they did it right....so we ll see

Take care...storms around you guys look scarey to me but i guess youre all ok. [Smile]

I think the rain is not coming as predicted. Howard and his brother came to help with the carpenter bees.

It is better to try and spray the nests at night (yes,LP, these are borer bees), but when someone comes to offer help, I don't question the timing.

We used WD40 to spray the nests and one female did come out--I had no mercy. Then I soaked steel wool in permethrin and Howard plugged the holes. These are temporary plugs until we are sure they are all gone and then he will use wood putty. They are very bad here this year due to the mild winter.

I have several gift certificates to pizza places that have gluten free pizza, so I am treating myself tonight to an olive topped pizza and a salad. Have to use them by July.

Better go pick up the pizza now.

Kayak .. I hope the doctor can help you figure out whatever is wrong so you can feel better.

hiker .. I would be like you .. no mercy!! I've never had any experience with borer bees or whatever they are.

We had a wild storm on Tuesday. It rained about 2 inches in an hour. The creek down the hill was pretty crazy for awhile. We are still going to get more rain over the next 5-6 days.

News from Kam... Someone at their complex saw a BEAR by the front door! So she and Rosie will have to be careful.

Ppl make fun of me for being wary of bear, moose now fix and even woodchuck. They are not behaving the way they used to...envirinment changes and development are two things...ive posted befire about bear cimibg in hiuses and cars...they use diir handles! And moose mating with trucks and attackung swing sets

You really have to be careful...they arent being bad...theyre trying to survive

Yesterday there was a video of a coyote carrying a shih tzu like etta down the street...but a guy rescued it

We have a fix catching squirrels on our lawns...and thats fine but i cant let etta out on her tie-out now. We know that fox is healthy and has 3 babies to feed...they saud the coyite did too

Thursday-Today is Josh's last day! We're planning on doing lunch to celebrate. Have more house work today but will try not to do so much.

Oh, got a $10.99 haircut that's passable and did my own pedi/mani. Spruced up for uncle tomorrow. Mom is still sick and hoping she'll feel better tomorrow.

Kayak-We have even more in common. My SI went out from fractured tailbone and the other from squatting while cleaning.

Hiker-OMG! Why didn't I think of looking for a place that has gluten free pizza? Course can't have dairy either but sure I can find something. On a mission now!

TuTu-I sure hope Kam and Rosie are careful. I used to be pretty wary of bear, moose etc. in AK. Don't laugh, I was bit by a squirrel too when I was a teenager, so I'm afraid of them too.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Sorry ak...i laughed.

I wanted to cime back cuz i got distracted earlier. I had a good talk with worker about my idiosyncrasies. ..ha! Google saved me. I didnt know how to spell thst. About being chronically ill and afraud of tucks and mold...and skeeters and bees. He understands about genes cuz his wufe was fine until 3 yrs ago when.she had a heart attack and now shes very disabled so he has to do a lot for six kids and her while trying to make a living. Hus hrs are pretty erratic but he doesnt mnd helping me with little things i cant do anymore...and we havent had any disagreements about hours and he really does good work. So for me it seems it will work out

I ve had two naps alteady...the heat is really knockng me out...i hope worker can get one ac in ttonight. I cant blow cool.air in at nite cuz of mold andvthe exhaust fans jyst arent cuttung it anymore

Slept in a bit today as the rain moved in. Heavenly. We really need the rain.

Got my haircut and tried to schedule some MD appointments etc. My hairstylist moves in July, so probably only one more haircut with her. Bummer as I have been going to her for 25 years and she is only $20. Not as cheap as AK found, but I live in one of the most expensive areas of Illinois, so $20 is a great price.

Went to the grocery store to spend the big bucks on my gluten free staples and organic meat.

Discovered they have the So Delicious brand of coconut milk yogurt that I like. I have been ordering it by the case from a local organic store, but it is hit and miss whether they can get it or not and a case of 12 is often too much.

The grocery store (Kroger) did not have the unflavored variety which I like so I can mix in my own fruit and not have the added sugar, but I bought a couple to have on hand.

I should go outside and stake the tomato plants since the ground is now soft from the rain. I may take another day or two before I get back into regular exercise. Still wiped out from school.

I really do need to do some weights for my arms and work on my core. I have a friend who is a certified personal trainer, but she lives over an hour away and we have not been able to meet up so she can show me the core exercises which I can do standing up so I don't get vertigo.

Will pray for Kam and Rosie that the bear stays away.

AK .. I laughed too... not at you.. with you! Nice that Josh is out for the summer!

kayak .. So glad the worker is a perfect fit!

Hiker .. Seems we all had haircuts.. (your turn, kayak).. I got one yesterday. My gal used to charge $20.. for a long time. She just went up to $23 recently. It's about average for this area, I think.

I went to exercise Tues and today. Sometimes I forget to post about it! LOL .. Isn't this an exercise thread?? [Big Grin]

I did 25 min on the machine and 15 laps. I get lazy on the laps because they are so boring and I get plenty of walking at the stores.

Went to hubby's show again last night. He did a great job. Kayak .. you can go listen to him play .. see my FB page.

The weather is hot and muggy .. more rain coming, I think.

PS .. Kam was supposed to see a Dr today so maybe she could get a new power chair. I'll keep you posted.

Poor Kam had one of those nerve conduction tests and an EMG, I believe. She said it was barbaric. I had the same reaction and I vowed to never allow them to do that to me again.

I sure hope this gives them the info they need for her chair .. and perhaps info she NEEDED.

Did anyone hear more from Kam?

I spent some time setting up my mammogram and my fasting blood tests. My ob/gyn just does a finger prick for the cholesterol, blood sugar, and hemoglobin, so I opted for that rather than a regular blood draw. My veins are so hard to find and this is much cheaper.

My GP may want to do thyroid tests and he keeps pushing for a colonoscopy. May wait another year or two on the latter and my thyroid tests always come back normal.

I cleaned the inside of my car. Decided to wait on the outside since I am driving on the back roads tomorrow. I also swept out the garage.

Went for a 20 minute walk. I decided to start very slowly with exercises for my biceps and triceps. Just used a 5 pound weight in each hand for curls and reverses. 20 reps. Not going to push it or I will overdo and quit.

I am still trying to decide if I want to go sit in class for 3 days all day in June. Would be some income as it is professional development and after June 30th I cannot earn more than my salary until I retire. We are given a generous raise the last 3 years of teaching and so you can't add any extra. I can't even cover a teacher's class as the union requires payment for that.

Off to do the crossword puzzle in the newspaper to exercise my brain.

The last doc that tried to do that test on me stopped because i was screaming and crying so much. I kept saying for him to finish thinking he would find something that magicaly would be a clue to get me better. But he said no...a positive test is when.you dont feel stufff. It means nerves arnt working and muscles are weak...those of us havingbhype painful reactions often have nerve damage from lyme but th s t is not what test is looking for

I got up really early to prep for pest guy

He wastwo hours late...grrrr...and not my regular guy and i didnt like him. He talked down to me andvwas arrogant and dismissive. I wanted to.punch him.in the nose.

I guess that means i should check n off mood swungs on docs sx checklist.,Huh?

Worker did a lot in short time but after he left i realuzed there was no power to my microwave...its in the wall he worked on. And he was hammerung a lot. He says hes coming back. Theres no way for me to turn off breaker cuz it usnt working...but it was this morning

So...hes coming back. I really need to relax but dont want a fire to wake me up tonight.

He put my second ac in so i am set for summer. Bith units wintered well in my closet after i took themapart and cleaned them last fall. No mold at all yay!

I feel so worn out with both thise guys here...i need to wash dishes...do some dtuff to door trim, go to hime depot for a few things...and then crash.

The next two days are really hot so i plan to stay in wc inside in ac and try to sort the many papers in livingroom

I know, kayak. I didn't want to tell her either. She may actually have MG, so it's important to know.

Yes, I like to party .. hahaha! When you get to do that at a cheap rate, it's worth it!

Friday-All day trip to Atlanta airport and back. Mom couldn't go so her bff came along to interpret when I picked up my uncle. So we're safely home and I'm sleeping on a pallet on the floor for the duration.

Counting the airport as exercise. Did a lot of walking.

Kayak-Crippy me just wanting to say whatever do you mean about me pushing myself? I can't relate to that at all. LOL!

TuTu-I forget this is an exercise thread too. Wow, up to 25 minutes. I'm turning green.

Hiker-Oh my gosh! I've got to work on my arms too. My bad arm is just flab. I've got one pound ankle weights that might be ok to start with. BTW, sounds like you're starting your summer knocking out the essentials.

RosieKam-Hope everything is ok.

See you all tomorrow!

Yeah...lately my visitos are in close quaters and closer to the floor. They do have mattresses tho. I know i should start new thread. I ll try. Im resting.

Last night after worker left...hours after. I realized microwave didnt work. Elrc is in wall he was working in. He was hard tofigure out what happened. He came with his oldest son who is training to be electrucuan.

The last screw he put in was to put mailbox back. It went thrue a wire. So they shut off breaker and are coming back this morning to take part of wall down to fix it.

But this morning all was well..i was online , mking do in kitchen with extension cords. All of a sudden i.had no internet

I was forced to clean.up a bunch of papers on make shift computer table cuz havent used office since work.started. i finally called him.cuz i was worrued there was bigger problem

He said often. Internet companies have battery back up so im.guessing thats what happened and it wore out

I am exhausted and cant walk. Last night after crazy dsy i went to home depot to buy a third air purifier. Ive been planing on it for. Awhile

And i also needed to replace filters in my respirator. I couldnt figure out how and four!!! Employees couldnt help. Id been standing way too long. A customer finally showed me. But that was really hard

This glass is pretty empty and i really need rest and no problems for awhile.

My shoulder is killing me cuz ive abused it. But my neck and right hand are wothless too and the pain is a very familiar lyme pain. Impretty sure i had multiple bites i didnt know about and all ive treated with is doxy...iay have to.go back to llmd...who knows what i have contracted now. And i think treatment will be much more expensive now that medicare is in the mix

Ok. Done ventin. Then will catch breath andvtry to start new thread

I may be back on meducal more in the future. Shoot.

Saturday-Stiff earlier from my floor adventure. Waiting on my Mom and Uncle to come home. They went shopping for some clothes for him. I'm still a little tired but ok.

Wanted to go for a walk but Josh is snoozing. Took out a frozen prime rib for my family's dinner tomorrow. I'll have chicken or fish. I'll be doing a lot of cooking and cleaning while my Uncle is here. Am so happy that they are together and having a good time.

So day one is going ok so far, even with 4 adults and 1 bathroom!

Hope everyone's weekend is going fantastic!

Took a country drive to a graduation party about an hour from my house. Then continued on the back roads to my parents.

Managed a 20 minute walk. Otherwise I am lazy. [Roll Eyes]

I went to the Veterans Memorial Museum here today. I have never been there and always wanted to see it. It was "OK".. but still glad I stopped in to check it out.

What amazed me the most was how small most of the WWI and WWII uniforms were. People are just so much bigger these days!

The women's uniforms were like a size zero or something.

I saw some items my dad used to have, like the old canteens and other gear. Scary to see "fox hole" knives for close combat. Awful.

I also saw a bazooka. Not sure I had ever seen on up close.
