After a 1:30 A.m.confusing text from my brother, when we got a hold of him.

My Dad is dying, I talked to my dad, he doesn't want to go to the hospital, does not want an aid car there.

He had a fall in the bathroom earlier this last week, which we were not aware of until Friday.

They live aprox. 3 days drive from us, i'e' twelve hundred miles.I cannot drive, TxCoord, cannot drive with his knee a mess and awaiting surgery. Even if we could get there dad is refusing treatment.

I spoke to my dad, tho' he is very weak, he will not allow anyone to get him any treatment.

Not sure how we'll manage getting to a funeral when that is all ready. Just beyond it right now.

Please understand,we are not aksing for funding but for prayers,to get thru this.

I found this beautiful prayer on ibelieve.com:

My Prayer for You

This is my prayer for you:
smiles when sadness intrudes,

laughter to kiss your lips,
hugs when spirits sag,

friendships to brighten your being,
confidence for when you doubt,

courage to know yourself,
comfort on difficult days,

rainbows to follow the clouds,
sunsets to warm your heart,

beauty for your eyes to see,
faith so that you can believe,

patience to accept the truth,
love to complete our life.

Silverwolfi, I am thinking about you and TXCoord

TXCoord said that the knee surgery might be postponed so that you can travel to the funeral

As others said - be gentle with yourself right now

and know that we are thinking about you both

I don't know if you can eat that, but Amy's Vegetarian Meat Loaf is my go-to meal when I need something stress-free to eat

it has a little mashed potatoes and peas and corn and the gravy is rather yummy

it is organic and Vegan and gluten-free and microwaves in 6 minutes - easy-peasy

God bless you and be with you both!

Thank you both <<<<< hopingandpraying , Harmony >>>>>,

For the tho'ts and prayers, I am sad,but grateful Dad is finally at peace, and not in pain and weary.

I'll check back in later on, the thot's and prayers, are so comforting, and I am so glad for our Lyme Family, and our Church Family too.

I don't know what I'd do if this Board wasn't here. Y'all are a huge comfort.

Jus' Silverwolfi here
