- Could only see the first part but something seems odd here. They think since sales are down, bring back old product and all will be sweet again.
Here's hope that the "plummeting sales" were not indicating customers wanted aspartame back but (maybe) rejecting the sucralose in current product which also is not good for health [why trade one bad additive for another?] . . .
and, hopefully, maybe also finding other things to drink that are not poison to their bodies.
Maybe people have - gasp! - discovered they can grab some mint leaves &/ or squeeze a lemon or lime, add a touch of stevia, ice, their own water and have an enjoyable beverage right then and there. Maybe people will discover that green tea is delicious, hot or iced.
Maybe people are getting smarter and heading back to simplicity. -

Heard a "doctor" on one of the network shows talking about this and he said the diet drinks (across the board) are losing market share mainly due to people switching to "sparkling waters".
One of the commentators tried the "well the study with rats showed you have to inject tons . ." at which point the "doctor" interrupted her and said, "That's not true!"
And in fact, diet drinks (regardless of which "sweetener" was used caused people to eat more carbs than they realized.
Glad we stopped several years ago.
