Thanks for posting this, Lymetoo.

I used to be more transparent with people about how I feel. However, due to a lack of understanding on the part of other people, I've found for me personally, keeping it simple, such as, "Fine, thank you," has been more helpful to me with people I'm not super close to.

I've found that whomever said "you don't get it 'til you get it" has proved true in my case.

I can totally relate. I don't go out if there is even a chance I will 'lose it'.

So when people actually see me, it is a 'good moment' (whatever those really are). Then I come home and die.

I agree with me. "you don't get it 'till you get it."

I smile because, despite the horrible life of Lyme, there is still so much to be thankful for.

I still see the beauty of a sunset, the kindness of friends and co-workers, feel the kiss of a puppy, read a good book etc.

I smile to encourage others who might be having a worse day than I am having.

Be thankful in all things- even difficult times and sickness and trials - because there is something GOOD to be seen
