I received some interesting answers in my Ancestry Composition profile.
I have a quiet moment in between various Estate business, and personal TrekC' and me business [some of it is good news for a later post!].
Here is most of my profile, I do not get the male 'Y' Haplo group as a lady 'wolfi',but I know a little bit from relatives on that side of things.
Mostly I am of European Ancestry , [I do get a little info' of my Dads side, Grandpas etc., but it is mostly from the Moms.
I am British&Irish {Scots is also w/in this], French& German , a little bit Scandinavian, a tiny bit Iberian [interesting can be Spanish,Portugeuse, French Basque, and/or a teensy bit of Morroccan],
a little bit of Southern European,and Ashkenazi Jewish, a smidge more European, another teensy bit North African, and an equally teensy bit Sub-Saharan African,
And a teensy tiny bit unassigned, which is likely where the Shoshoni/ Blackfoot/ Siouxan Cherokee bit is that Moms brother found and researched while in Military service. His records sadly burned in their cabin fire years ago.
Also some of dads relatives traced back a tiny smidge of Cherokee, on his Maternal Grandmothers side.
So I am a colorful blend of a 'paleface' , mostly European, but there was a couple surprises. This was fun,and after estate and some other matters are concluded .I'll be hunting who some of these relatives were!
I was surprised that more of the Native American Indian did not show, but I suspect it is more from the Male 'Y' Haplo Group.
And those passed on before didn't do any Ancestry type matching that is known. Other than Moms brother.
One of my girl cousins on dads side has traced part of it,so I have a bit there too that didn't all show on my Ancestry composition.
I am curious who some of these relatives were, some I know about,others not much.It'll be a fun hunt, to learn more information.
I'll be checking Melungeon Heritage info' when possible,to as what was found is likely involved w/ Melungeon groups as well.
Someday I'd like to get the medical genetic info' as well, have to wait awhile tho'.

Yes, I got more info on ancestry than on my health. It's fun to nail down a few questions!

It really was interesting,it was a great gift,and I look forward to finding out more of who was who, and what, and where.
Paternal grandfathers family owned a clothing mill in England. And great grandpa was a woodsman/ hedgerow/woodcutter man I suppose it would be called.
He gathered wood for the mill to keep workers warm and so on,and also kept the area woods and hedgerows in good order,as far as keeping things trimmed and making sure the village folk had wood for fires and warmth.
I had spoken to my dad a year or so before he passed,and that is what he remembered of what my grandpa had mentioned.
My dad worked in the woods when he was young, so it seems like maybe it was a family thing?!Dad was also a good shade tree mechanic, and loved to do electronics,especially radio and ham.
It'll be interesting to see what I can find about my mom's family,and my paternal grandmother as well.
Oh Lymetoo, if you research those European, bloodlines, it's anything but boring!!! It's kind of amazing, where all of us came from !!!
Some of my Dad's kin said we may be part Dutch/Netherlands as well. I'll have fun learning as I go along I'm sure!
Hiker if you ae able to do the test at some point,it is really interesting!
