There's a Dr M in CO (I believe no longer practicing, but not sure I can say his name here) who discovered his ALS was actually Lyme disease, treated with IV abx and got relatively better.

Lyme Support Group founder in my area had mother diagnosed with ALS, but learned it was actually Lyme disease, very late in progression of illness.

She sadly has passed on but her daughter is fighting for all of us now, believing if her mother had been treated for lyme earlier, her mother would still be here.

I am learning of many others diagnosed with ALS, that actually tested positive for Lyme. Read below about this poor family's struggle to get the correct diagnosis and treatment. Too late, sadly.

My MIL passed away this year from ALS. I swear she had lyme disease. I wish I would have known I had lyme disease before she passed and maybe I could have pushed people to try antibiotics.

So sad.
