A friend recently shared this short video and said to forget ticks in the Christmas tree, this is worse! I agree!

I think I'd rather see the snake than ticks. I used to have pet snakes though; granted, they weren't poisonous. My first reaction was snake over ticks. For real. Should I be even more concerned about myself? [loco]

Hi <<<<< Tinny >>>>>,

Definitely scary, a friend of ours son, was bitten in Arizona by a rattler. It took him a long time, to get any strength back, he lost a lot of weight before it was over with. But he is blessed to be alive.

I don't care for most snakes, the non-poisonous ones do have a place tho'. They help keep rodent overgrowth from occurring. Personally, I don't want them around.

A couple years ago we had a roadrunner show up in the yard. So there was either a snake or a scorpion around. The bird was funny looking. the reason it was here, was'nt! It didn't stay in area long, so hopefully the threat was removed.

The snake in the tree, and a fake tree at that, was frightening. I think I'd be wondering if someone had it in for us,if we found a live snake in our tree. Yikes!

Hmm, wonder if non-poisonous snakes eat ticks?

LOL <<<<< me >>>>>, I wonder about mine own self sometimes too. As a friend at our local buffet says...' to many voices in (her)... head, can't afford to eat out anymore, not enough money to feed them all.

Hi <<<<< Lymetoo >>>>>, trying to think about other stuff than Hubby in the Hospital...

I looked up road runners, when the one was in our yard. Most of them are cool looking... this one looked like it went thru' a tornado. So funny, and ruffled all up. But glad he was around.

We figure he killed whatever he was after, cause he left. They do eat scorpions too. We haven't seen any around, or rattlesnakes. Altho' there are some a few miles from us,at the Animal preserve, and park.

Las Vegas, has at least 7 kinds of Poisonous snakes, many are rattlesnakes, and Gila Monsters, plus scorpions, and Argentine Red Ants.

On the lighter side there is desert tortoise, and foxes, also Miner Cats wild, cats with ring tails like a racoon. And lots of birds too.

Jus' Silverwolfi hoping I don't find any snakes,Like that gal with the snake in the tree
