I've been developing the recipe for a while now. It is quick to make too- 3 minutes maximum.

Get a quart of Vanilla Dannon yogurt. Dannon is most "natural" without colors, preservatives, etc.

Buy some frozen bags of fruit. Strawberries, raspberries, blue berries, peaches. Be sure they say "No Added Sugar".

For breakfast toss a handful of frozen fruit in a bowl with the Dannon yogurt. Stir and add your favorite sweetener.

You can also pack it for lunch (for you or the kids) since the frozen berries will keep it cold a good while.

Inexpensive compared to the little containers of yogurt, less trash or recycling to do, better for you, fresh fruit, low-fat, etc.

Tonight I made a bowl, but added three fruits and a banana too! Colorful. YUM!!!

It's as good as a banana split!

Ok, almost as good as a banana split.

(I don't want to hurt my ice cream's feelings.)

That is one of my hubby's snacks - yogurt with fruit.

We usually get a locally made plain yogurt, so the fruit adds sweetness.

His first choice of fruit is peaches.

Manna,

I thought about them, but haven't tried the peaches yet. Sounds good! Something else to look forward too. Thanks for the tip!
