Have you seen these?

They are supposed to be treated with permethrin, the only substance I have tested that actually killed a live tick in the test.

I have not tested the gators themselves, but do wear them and they are very convenient to put on over your socks and lower edge of the pants.

I just got a pair. They are very snug and I am petite, so they might not work well for a man or larger woman.

They are bright lime green and I do feel safer wearing them to work in the yard. I am going to order a similar product in white to fit over my arms/shirt sleeves.

They are supposed to last up to 25 washes.

This seems like a good idea to me! But I wonder why they are only good for 25 washings when most permethrin treated clothes are good for 70 washes.

Not sure why they are only good for 25 washes. I know when I spray my own clothes the spray is only good for 5-8 washes.

I have never found permethrin treated clothes that fit.
