A friend posted on FB that her blood sugar was 78. There were a couple people congratulating her on having it down so well.
I disagreed. I go to church with this young lady and when her sugars are this low she is in distress.
Well, one of her friends more or less told me I didn’t know what I was talking about declaring she had been in the medical community for 20 years and put up a “chart” showing approved blood sugar readings.
I told her that diabetes is an individualistic disease and noted what I had seen in my friend and the fact that when my own levels drop below 100 I am in need of immediate protein.
When will the medical community start paying attention to the patient and not the “norm”?
Silver has an average temp of 97.4. If she is pushing 99+ we are told that is within the norm. Oh, I see, if a 2 point jump is within norm, so someone with a 100+ is okay?
Duh.
