A LLMD in NY has researched natural bug sprays and their ingredients to find the best choices for our needs.

Here you can also see how to make a DIY batch too!

BTW- If you are in/around NY and get a tick bite this doctor will see you on the same day if at all possible.

She has a kind of like walk in clinic for people with tick bites and early symptoms, as well as treating the more advanced or complex patients.

Of course, you should contact her office before popping in to be sure you can be seen that day.

I'm good Maddog. Thanks for asking!

My server has been on the fritz on/off for a couple of weeks- at least a couple- so when I do get online I am rushed to try to catch up. Sorry!

And just so you know... I sent you an email yesterday with several paragraphs- about the fishing expedition and your special visitor (family and the beast near the door knob).

In case you didn't get it, I just resent it. See if it came to your inbox, ok?

You doing ok my friend? Filled up from that catfish and those nice bluegills it appears. Just trying to torment me!

You know that makes me hungry just thinking about it!

TC, funny you posted this because I was doing yard work today and used tea tree oil. I get ate up by mosquitoes and have been trying to find something for ticks and mosquitoes.

Great to hear Lone Wolf! Mosquitoes love me too! They make me crazy!

Recently I was experimenting and found that the mix of Repel Lemon & Eucal Yptus was good for most things, but the no see'ums were still biting me. And they hurt too!

Couldn't be out 5 minutes without getting itchy bites.

So I put on peppermint oil with the Repel product and was outside almost 2 hours with no bites!

Of course I wasn't fit for man or beast the way I smelled, but hey, nothing bit me!
