I believe this is saying that the number of physical deformities found in ticks that harbor tick-borne encephalitis are increasing- with leg atrophy being the most common, and nymphs showing the worst cases.
Of course, they can't measure the fact a tick might also have a whopping headache from encephalitis like we do.
Now, if the TICKS that are meant to harbor this tick borne disease are showing numerous physical problems (and assuming they followed the IDSA/CDC treatment guidelines and had a short term course of Doxy- at best), what are the diseases doing to humans?

Radiation and chemicals are probably mutating them.

- lookup has a good point about chemicals (don't know enough about their radiation exposure but if around cellular or other kinds of towers, something to think about, too.
Similarly, all the little deformed froggies have been found to be connected to certain chemical exposure put into their habitat by humans who were / are either scientifically unaware, naïve or just don't care. -

Good point lookup! That could be true too! The junk is affecting our fogs and polliwogs, so why not ticks?

Since Fukushima blew up and continues to spew it's radiation all over the globe (even the levels are rising in Australia)I am seeing so many mutations. I see a lot of mutations in the leaves on trees. Sometimes my celery is badly mutated inside and also I see mutated dandelions.
The radiation comes over on the jet stream and ocean currents and it comes down in the rain and snow. It sticks on pollen and dust.
I have a Geiger counter and the levels continue to rise.

It is just heartbreaking and the media, for the most part, is silent. They turned most of the radiation monitors off when the radiation first landed on the USA. No data. No news.

Do you notice there are so few little song birds? Before Fukushima we had so many black capped chickadees and nuthatches. That dwindled to just a few. Nuthatches are rare to see now.
