Today is #GivingTuesday for Lyme and thru Lyme Disease Association, contributions will be matched by Facebook and PayPal.
LDA, with it's Army of unpaid volunteers, has sent out over a million pieces of educational information and enabled over 250 children of limited means to receive initial testing and/or treatment.
LDA has funded research published in 46 peer-reviewed journals. Its recent 19th annual Scientific Conference was the best yet, featuring cutting edge research and information by top researchers, physicians, scientists, and more.
Their army of Volunteers has kept overhead costs to 3% or less.
Please consider a donation of any amount and this will enable matchy-matchy to a dedicated organization and its "Green Army."
To donate, please go to the home page and scroll down to "Donate Now," then click and follow directions.

- Along with LDA which is an exceptional organization, there are also ways to support the work of ILADS or even their physician training program specifically, ILADEF.
. . . We fight to make the patient voice stronger, to support science-based advocacy, to create legislative change, and to create a future where Lyme patients can receive the treatments they need to get well. . . . -

- Share with friends and family, too, especially with those who might be compiling a few organizations at the end of the year to support.
Some families I know, in addition (or even rather than) material gift giving to each other, each selects a group and then shares details about the organization choice with their families. -
