What's got you moving this week? Here is the place to report your exercise--from bicycling to laundry.

I spent last night going up and down the stairs with tornadoes all around. Our community was spared but other towns were not so blessed.

Rode exercise bike, stretched, and did core balance exercises for 28 minutes. Abs are sore from being out of shape.

Doing laundry and going to watch some football (go Bears) and Illini basketball.

Have a great week!

Thanks for getting us going this week Hiker! Way to go on the 28!

I did 3 loads of laundry today and made pepper steak (Josh's fav) for dinner.

Also went after hours VIP shopping at the mall for a few hours with a friend. I found 2 red blouses for the holidays for under $37!!!

Now just to get Christmas shopping done!

See everyone tomorrow!

Exercised 40 minutes—half walking and half core/balance with stretching.

Dreary day here. Ended up waking in a chilly drizzle.

Am watching the motorcade arrival of Bush 41 at Captitol.

AK-sounds like you are getting into Christmas spirit with your red blouses. I need to get out my Xmas sweatshirts and my Christmas pins.

Had little sleep last night so off to bed.....

Walked among the snow flurries for 31 minutes. Freezing rain mixed with snow now.

Made meatloaf and put half in the freezer.

Went to bank, library, and gas station.

Am starting to feel the holiday cheer! Got out my assortment of fun Christmas socks.

Made it to the gym today! Walked 3 laps to warm up and cool down. 10 minutes each of rowing, recumbent bike and elliptical. Then 15 minutes of blissful heat in the sauna.

Me, my Mom and her BFF went to the local space science center for a performance of the local university's school of music and art.

Treated with a guitar quartet first, then a pianist and a trombone ensemble last while watching the coinciding art display overhead in the planetarium dome.

It was awesome!!!

Jealous of your snow Hiker! It was in the 70's yesterday but today was cooler thank God. Way to go on the 31!

Off to sleep.....

Hi u guys. I am still alive. I’ve posted 2x and lost it. Both my eyes and fingers are broke and push wrong buttons a lot

I m getting haircut in a few min. Very short cuz of shoulder

I’m going thru a lot of health stuff that is related to having Lyme earlier in life. Llmd s and scientists like Macdonald and Grier have written on it. Old Lyme’s often end up with what I am dealing with but most. Md s not on board. I just passed and important first step and now dealing with new things to figure out so I’m tired and stressed but getting better when you look at big pic. I ll give you links and stuff if anyone is interested but it’s one of those things you get worse before better. I was in denial until I had to face it

Ok haircut time. I didn’t read posts but will be back. I am so glad hiker was safe when the tornados blew thru

I got my haircut today too Kayak! Mine is a super short pixie. I call it my no fuss no muss do. I don't even have to brush it!

Afterwards I took Mom to her cardiologist appointment that went well then off to pick up her meds at the local military base.

Home and getting ready to heat up our TV dinners in the oven along with a pear crumble I made yesterday. Already made the salad last night so everything's good to go when Josh gets here at 6:00.

So just a whole lot of running around for exercise today!

See everyone tomorrow!

You are all getting your hair cut shorter and mine is growing out! It's taken me since January for it be almost a page boy. It's more of a "bob." Should be finished growing out by this January!! It's actually easier to take care of than when it was short.

Our flooring is finished!

No excitement over here because we are exhausted and not looking forward to putting it all back together. [Wink]

One box at a time, right?

It may snow tomorrow .. but the big snow will be Saturday. Yesterday they said 3-6 inches. I have no idea what they said today.

Got to see a little bit of Bush's funeral. I have it taped too. I hope to see the one tomorrow in Texas. My great nephew is in the Texas A&M Corps and they will line the pathway for the motorcade tomorrow.

It will be impressive. I remember seeing that when Barbara Bush died. But this time my nephew will be in the line up! I hope I can spot him, but there are hundreds of corpsmen.

AK .. the music sounds wonderful! We miss hearing all the great bands in Texas. We would go to the music conventions in San Antonio when we lived in Texas. They brought bands in from all over the US .. and then there were all the Texas bands. Overload!!

Kayak .. I hope you start feeling better soon!!

hiker .. Hope you don't get more snow than us!

Exercise was sweeping the drive of snow. Just took 20 minutes as less than an inch.

Tutu--A little snow coming here tomorrow, but not in the forecast (yet) for the weekend.

Washed Bush's funeral. Michael W. Smith sang. Sad, but humor there as well in the eulogies.

Drove the 70 minutes to see energy healer and back again. She is seeing improvement, but said to take this first year of retirement and get as much rest as possible. (but not to give up exercise)

Watching Illini basketball tonight. They will get creamed but their volleyball team is in the NCAA tourney!

If you watch today's funeral service, look for Cookie Joe (dancer) .. She was trained by Patsy Swayze and I think she will be dancing today .. or some in her dance school will be. Not sure. She was once Patrick Swayze's dance partner.

I just saw that the Oak Ridge Boys and the Gatlin Brothers are there this morning.

I took a day of rest today after yesterday's energy healing.

Watched Bush's funeral on TV. Very moving.

Snowed here today but not enough to shovel. Happy about that.

Say prayers for a tragedy that happened to our high school's girls basketball team. Their bus was hit head-on last night on the interstate by a semi going the wrong way. Semi driver and one adult on bus killed. Several others seriously injured and life flighted to bigger city.

I just drove this same stretch of highway a few hours before. I was thinking about the crazy semi drivers as I drove. Most are safe, but some really scare me.

Back to being a couch potato.

Will pray for them, hiker. Trucks really can be scary on the highways!

I watched the funeral too. Very humbling and moving.

I missed the funeral and will catch up on YouTube.

Went to the gym today and walked 3 laps to warm up and cool down. 30 minutes of elliptical then moved on to the weight machines. Did my usual inner/outer thigh and upper back/chest routine.

15 minutes in the blissful sauna and came home and did absolutely nothing. Was feeling tired today.

Are you happy with the flooring TuTu now that it's in? I really enjoyed San Antonio when I was down there a couple days. Wish I could've done some more exploring but did get to go to the Alamo and that nice mall they have. I enjoy all kinds of music and have yet to attend a convention. I'm sure I'd love it!

How's it going with the new energy healer Hiker? I've been going over my treatment protocol and tests from the functional medicine chiro I used to go to. I'm going to order Premier Research supps from Amazon that he had me on. I've noticed an overlap in his treatment being very similar to porphyria treatment that Keebler has posted about. Interesting stuff she's posted.

See everyone tomorrow!

Wow. I got really busy. Medical stuff. And ppl wanting to buy my house and sell me houses near the beach. I never thought I could afford a beach house and the pric s are lower than they have ever been but after seeing what’s available and what they would list my house for it doesn’t make sense.

So I wasted a bunch of time on that merry go round

Earlier in the week there was a lot of talk about bush here. I lived one town away from his town for about 2 yrs. everyone really liked him. Barbara often did her own grocery shopping at the same place I did. And she opened a special place for children at the hospital. They were both really loved here

I got busy during the services but had them on in the background. I haven’t been to an episcopal church in so long but hearing the music brought me right back

I cleaned like crazy for a few days cuz realtor came to house to give me market value. He things there will be a bidding war but I can’t imagine getting an offer big enough for me to get a house as clean and new as this one. I’m going to tell both realtors on Monday I won’t sell unless values go way up

So the cleaning was a lot of exercise

Also on the way home from haircut I stopped where two guys were building a porch and they came to my house and agreed to patch the flashing where the piece fell off. They are busy now but will do that so no more rain gets in and then after Christmas they will finish the kitchen and replace the slider. And finally everything will be done. I hope they turn out to be as good as they seem

And tomorrow I will go and get the shoe and finally start to wear them. My back hurt so much doingvall the cleaning with uneven legs

I’ve been having trouble with itchy skin and I wonder if my liver is messed up. I ll call doc and see if he will order blood test. I’m detoxing with some teas and questran and it helps but never goes away. And soon the lymph massage starts

We are having 10 days of sunny weather. Very strange. Hope you guys all stay safe with the crazy weather and are able to get exercise in. Tutu I sure hope they did s good job on the floor

Ak--Keep going with that exercise!

lp--Beach house would be nice but I imagine very expensive. I suspect in the next few years we will hit a recession and houses will be harder to sell. But that is just my opinion.

Today was a lot of running errands--grocery, supplements, Christmas shopping.

Went to chiropractor.

BFF coming over tonight.

And looks like sunshine for a few days here. [Smile]

First off, thank you TuTu for posting the link with the Oak Ridge Boys. So touching and made me teary eyed.

No exercise today but did a pedi/mani for myself, just cleaning them up, no polish. Polished my Mom's nails.

Me, Mom and her BFF attended a Christmas party tonight for international students at the local university hosted by one of my Mom's groups, the International Network.

Couple of students and one doctor shared how Christmas is celebrated in their countries. So informative and fun. They had singing, a dance performance and food galore! I had turkey, dressing, gravy, ham, rolls, eggrolls and fried noodles. Also managed to tuck in a small piece of Filipino homemade cake.

I've got to do some Christmas shopping too Hiker! I bought one gift from Amazon and some supplements today. Looking for some leggings for one niece, a tea cup/mug for another and need to pick up some gift cards. I've done very little on my purse project and need to get cracking!

My skin's been itching like crazy too Kayak! I don't know if it's dry or what. I ordered a bunch of supplements today and am hoping it'll help. I'm glad to hear that you're doing so much better! Whatever you're doing, keep it up! Is it the detoxing that's helping the most? Oh, and good luck with your decision about your house.

Well, off to find a Christmas movie on TV!

[hi]

Hiker I’m looking at houses a mile from the beach cuz there is flooding down there every year now. I’m 10 miles from beach now. When I was a kid I lived in 2 houses down there. Both a mule from beach. I could still smell salt air and know when the waves got big. I think a mile will be safe for my lifetime. It might become beach front if the grand kids end up with the house

My oldest son agrees with you about the recession. I trust you guys. I don’t have a clue. The bank lady did my income wrong for the pre qualify letter. I can’t believe I caught a math mistake. It’s scary to think bankers can make mistakes. I’m getting used to doctors being incompetent

I’m looking at 3 houses tomorrow. But I doubt I will keep ll okingbafter that. I am so greatful for my little house. I know so much about it. I can get to the beach in 20 min as long as it isn’t rush hour or storming I put 60k into this house in the last 6 yrs. the ones they are showing cost way more and need a lot of work. Anyway it was a distraction

I got my shoes. I haven’t started to wear them yet. 3/4 of an inch looks really funny. I hope they work

I also did a whole bunch of other stuff. But need to sleep. It’s 316. And busy day tomorrow. That storm looked like it could be bad near Atlanta. Hope you are ok ak. And it went close to tutu too...but rain I think.

Talk soon. I think my life might finally settle down

LP--I will never buy a house that needs a lot of work. Not worth the hassle. I know you are thinking the same thing. Fun to look, though.

Good luck with the shoes!

Walked 22 minutes.

Doing a few loads of laundry.

Watching a great volleyball match between Illini and Wisconsin.

I went to our mast cell support group party this afternoon. Got snow flurries as I was leaving my house for the party. It stayed above 35 most of the afternoon.

We had a good time!

We may get some snow tonight. 10% chance

Didn't make it to the gym as planned due to oversleeping. Really needed to go because went to a luncheon and another Christmas party tonight.

Can't believe I'm eating so much!

Me, Mom and her BFF were invited to a Filipino Christmas party. Over a hundred people with so much food and entertainment! Children and under 20's performed songs and dances that were incredible! Raffles, games, dancing and even a visit from Santa rounded out the evening! We had a wonderful time.

Been raining all day in my neck of the woods Kayak. I'm so glad that your health is improving. It's been a rough road for you!

Kudos on the 22 Hiker! Hope your evening went well with your BFF!

Was it a Christmas party TuTu? We're doing the rounds here and think we have 2 more to go. Good thing I have stretchy pants! LOL!

I haven't even done my Christmas cards Manna or finished my shopping. I've been kinda dragging butt lately and seem to be more tired. Can't figure it out.

Anyways....off to bed! Night gang!
