Happy St. Patrick's Day!! [Big Grin]

Did my Pt exercises twice today as usual. Shoulder and elbow are in excruciating pain--especially at night.

Energy healer said elbow and shoulder still really inflamed as is my digestive tract. Not what I wanted to hear, but God will see me through.

Went to library again.

Trying to get my dad's email fixed. I really need to drive over there. So, far I have it so he can send, but he still can't receive. Grr.

Tried sleeping in my recliner again last night. Only lasted a few hours before returning to my bed.

I think I need a softer recliner. I hate to get fabric, but this is not comfortable. Would like one that goes back a little further if I can find one.

Also need the lever to be on the left side, so if I have shoulder surgery I can get it to recline. I know there are power recliners, but that means you have to place them near an outlet and for some reason I am not comfortable sleeping on something that is plugged in. [Eek!]

May drop the laser therapy if I can get some of my money back. I paid for 12 sessions to get the cheaper rate, but don't think it is helping much. Would rather put the money towards the recliner.

Anyway, after that ramble, I wish you all a great week. [hi]

Not rambling at all Hiker! Am very sorry you're shoulder and elbow are hurting so badly. Tried ice?

Yesterday's move of the ex was emotionally and physically traumatic. Ex claimed he couldn't lift things and caused so much drama. So I had to lift large flat screen tv and heavy printer along with numerous boxes solo until the moving guys arrived three hours late!

Been in the bed on pain pills and muscle relaxers since and am staying in bed today.

Almost done though gang, some stuff still there and need to clean but shouldn't have to deal with ex until closing. Just phone contact from now on, thank you Lord!

Mission accomplished getting him off the property! Yay!

Well off to vegetate the entire day!

Hiker .. I so hope you can find a way to get some sleep. Such a nightmare!!

AK .. A BIG nightmare...hoping it will all be over soon so you can put him out of your life forever.

Did I tell you I traded my old Town Car for a Toyota Avalon? Gave up on trying to get the car fixed. It had another leak on the floor board and the unknown got to us!!

We have spent $1000 on the car since January.

We have a good friend who sells used cars in the city and we found what we hope is a cream puff.

2009 Avalon with 71,000 miles. Drives like a dream.

Hey, AK .. I saw a very pretty bright blue Scion iM. I think a lady may have bought it while we were there. It was in the showroom and next thing I know, it's gone!

Going to get to meet someone from here. I'm trying to think of her screen name .. but you all know her.

Congrats on the new car, Tutu.

Ak--hope you got much needed rest today.

Did my PT exercises.

Bought a new recliner. Have to wait to weeks to have it delivered but hope I can sleep in it for shoulder.

Workman put in handrail for my stairs so I can hang on with left hand now.

lp--Hope you are feeling better. Take your Benadryl with you to the MD or take it before you go in.

Thanks, hiker. I really like it. I pray I get used to having a heavy foot with it. You can't tell how fast you are going and I was used to a digital display besides the regular one in my other car.

I may need to get tinted windows too. With my Sjogren's it's pretty important.

I'm meeting "tdtid" tomorrow for hubby's show. [Smile]

Went to occupational therapy today for my elbow.

Now I have exercises for the elbow to do three times a day along with the PT twice a day.

Good thing I am a compliant patient.

Therapist said my elbow tendonitis was really bad. It hurts when I go to bed and it touches the sheets.

The therapist had some good suggestions on how to prep my house in case I have surgery and said if I bring a large t-shirt and a button shirt she will practice with me putting them on with one hand.

So, I need to go the thrift shop to get a few larger shirts.

Went to chiropractor. Seems these days I have so many appointments. But at least when I go to therapy they have me back to back with PT and OT.

Have a good evening. Tutu--let us know how your time with tdtid went.

Ak--How are you doing?

Tutu--Gotten a speeding ticket yet in that new jalopy?

Went to physical therapy this morning. I am getting stronger. Two weeks ago I was doing 50 pounds on a pull down weight. Today I did 78 pounds. Yet on another exercise I was unable to move from a one pound weight to a two pound. Will be sore.

Did a second round of my PT exercises. Did my OT exercises. Have one more set of those to go.

Went to functional chiropractor. This guy is a bit bizarre but pretty amazing. He uses his hands to scan the body and he focused in on my left thumb.

Now that thumb doesn't hurt, but he grabbed it and yanked and you could feel that it needed that manipulation.

I feel like am going through my health layer by layer. Last time he revealed harmful bacteria in the GI tract. I think that is gone. Although I still have inflammation.

Today he said I have a touch of candida overgrowth.

He gave me a new Pekana homeopathic supplement that is supposed to help with joint pain, digestion, and maybe sleep. I could sure use that.

He cut out two of my other supplements and lowered the dosage on a few more. He did say it can change day to day on amounts, so to use my brain, feelings, and pendulum.

He always tells me to decrease gradually from a supplement which is wise rather than just drop it.

He is not expensive but the Pekana supplements are.

Off to do a bit of Bible study so I am ready for the group tomorrow.

I have church tonight.

Sorry guys for not posting, I thought I had, which shows how wiped out I've been.

Went yesterday to trailer and worked from 10:30-4:00 putting stuff in one room for ex to pick up. Loaded my little Scion chock full of stuff to go to the storage unit. Cleaned bathrooms and vacuumed so the inside is completely done. Still have to vacuum 2 screened in porches but that can wait.

Had cholesterol blood work today for my appointment next week. I didn't lose 35 pounds but did manage 15 pounds and hope my blood work isn't horrible.

TuTu how wonderful to have that Avalon! I really enjoyed riding around in your town car though. I sure hope you have a blast with Tdtid!

Hiker I miss my functional chiro! When I first went to him I thought to myself, what in the world have I gotten into. He used muscle testing and a lot of other modalities that I wasn't familiar with. Even though he's passed away I've been ordering some of the supplements he had me take. He changed up my diet quite a bit too, no gluten or dairy and some veggies. I know you're going to feel better soon!

BTW gang, our group texting isn't working for me. I don't know what happened. I'm getting them but it just says 'no subject'.

See everyone tomorrow!

[group hug]

tdtid and I got together for supper then went to hubby's show on Tuesday. It was fun, but I know we both wanted to chat more. Just not enough time!

I posted a pic of us on Facebook and she tagged me in one with the two of them.

Yesterday I went to a book signing of someone pretty famous, then to a luncheon with our show group. That's the group I hook up with for the best show prices.

Then I had a church council meeting.

My back is out .. hips too, I think. So I had to skip my much needed apptm with my acupuncturist this morning. Hubby was going to take me later, but I decided I needed to just rest.

Hoping I can get there tomorrow. ARRRGGHH

Tutu--Glad you had fun with tdid. Sorry your back and hips are not good.

I had another sleepless night last night. I just can't seem to fall asleep on my back. Am waiting for new recliner.

Tried to nap day in old recliner. Couldn't fall asleep.

Did all my exercises--shoulder, elbow, and knee.

Went to Bible study. We only have one more meeting this spring and everyone is very bummed. Trying to convince leader to find something to extend our time until summer.

Just running errands for the past couple of days with my Mom.

Buyer's bank is still working on the loan for the trailer and property. She called me this morning needing the make, model and serial number of the trailer. Hope and pray things move along quickly.

TuTu sounds like you two had a great visit! The book signing sounds right up my alley. Sure hope your back and knees feel better soon!

Hiker it sure is hard trying to sleep in a different position. I kinda sleep on my stomach with my bad arm raised over head and used as a pillow. Pain wakes me up every few hours so I change position. Hope the new recliner works out!

Haven't seen Kayak here lately. Everything OK with her? I'm still not getting the group texts. My phone receives them it just has the no subject message. Frustrating!

See everyone later!

Did my PT exercises. Go to OT later this afternoon.

Then I am heading to my parents just for 24 hours.

I may need that shoulder surgery sooner than summer. Decided to take a bath today and didn't have enough shoulder strength to push up out of the tub easily.

Called Lazy Boy to try and get recliner here sooner, but it will still be over a week. My friends could probably load it in their van, but I already paid for delivery thinking I would get it the next day.

Called the newspaper and haggled about the price. It was going up $10 per month. Talked them down to a 50 cent only increase. Still too expensive but I do like reading the local news.

Sadly, a wonderful woman at church who is about my age, lost her battle with cancer today. She made it to her daughter's wedding 2 weeks ago, though. What a joyful person Linda was.

Ak--hope we can get you back on the group text.

Ak... Sounds good! Sure hope it goes through!

Hiker .. I'm so sorry you will have to do surgery. UGH... Also very sorry to hear about your friend, Linda.

We just lost two women in our church who recently moved to be with family. They were both strong forces in our church for many many years.

I spent most of yesterday in bed due to the pain.
I managed to get to the city for acupuncture. I arrived with shooting pains across my lower back .. all gone when I came out! WHEW!

He's my rescuer!

Am at my folks.

Washed the car and went for a 20 minute walk. Have not walked in ages. Beautiful outside.

Did my PT and OT exercises.

Will head back to my home after dinner tonight.

Tutu--Glad acupuncture helps you. I may see if the acupuncture guru I used to go to still practices. Not covered by insurance, though.

Have a good evening.

Hiker .. Just getting on the table would cause you more pain than the acupuncture would relieve??

I lie on my stomach on a table for acupuncture.

I can lie on stomach but not for too long.

Want to wait until summer but pain is horrific. Elbow is just as bad. My mom is freaking out about it.

Off to dress for dinner.

Went downtown today to observe an artist painting a modern mural on a store front. Also walked three blocks down and back to look at some outdoor sculptures. Hopped into an estate jewelry shop and ogled all the vintage jewelry. Such a beautiful day!

From there met ex and 2 helpers at the property and they loaded up the few remaining things while I vacuumed all the pollen off the front and back screened in porches.

I'm finally done! Hoping and praying all goes well with the sale and that I don't have to return.

Hiker I'm sorry about the loss of your friend at church. Speaking of cars, my blue car is covered with yellow pollen and looks terrible. It really needs a bath! LOL! Worried about your shoulder and elbow!

TuTu am glad that your acupuncturist was able to provide relief for your back. I haven't had acupuncture in years! Going to PT on the 3rd for my neck and SI joints that got tweaked in the car wreck. Hoping both SI's aren't locked up!

See everyone tomorrow!
