Yeah, if anyone wants to come out this way to S CA and help stores clean up! I think all their bottles and their computer equipment fell and broke at the epicenter!

I just saw it on my computer, since I'm in N CA. I can't wait to hear the story from one of my chiropractors who went to LA for the weekend!

Actually, tho, good question - thanks for asking, since I read that people in mobile homes lost their foundations, so probably donations are coming in for those losses.

My daughter is flying home to LA and was supposed to change planes in Las Vegas. She was re-routed because of flight delays there.

I imagine lots of people are trying to get to Las Vegas on the way to help out, or to get home from Las Vegas if they were visiting there.

Her friends in LA say no damage where she lives.

I always donate to the Red Cross and find that helpful in such disasters.

My cousins are in southern California and haven't heard from them yet. Called them, left messages but nothing so far. Praying they are ok.

Thank God - heard from cousins and they are fine. Still very concerned, however!

Robin123 - glad you are ok too.

THx, everyone - luckily, no major injuries or fatalities, basically because it was in the desert. Here's a photo of where the earth split, it's also an article about an early warning app they're working on - I think it's only going to work for under a minute of time.
