A book written by 4 hands, two excellent scientists with long carriers, experience, publications and medical practice showing the absurd of this Corona crisis.

The absurd is not because the virus is deadly.

The absurd is because NOW that we know the virus is not very deadly, our governments continue to suspend our constitutional rights and impose senseless measures.

He documented what happened in Germany, shows all numbers, the book is more like a scientific publication.

He explains why he thinks what the government is doing to the population is wrong. Dictatorial measures do not match the epidemiological 'danger'.

He hopes lawyers will wake up and start prosecuting politicians.

He also asks for the population to resist. If not, expect the worse.

He grew up in a dictatorial country Thailand, escaped to Germany, and never thought he would die in a dictatorial country. He's speaking out for the younger generations. He's old, he said, but his children and grandchildren aren't. This is not the place he wants them to live.

The book just came out and became a best seller immediately.

You can see that all positive comments (5 and 4 stars) were from people who BOUGHT the book (verified purchase).

ALL negative comments, with 1 or 2 stars have not EVEN bought the book!!!!😳😳😳

Prof Bhakdi tried to warn Angela Merkel about the absurd of the situation but never got any answer. That is why he is writing books and speaking out.

I would say 125,000 + dead in the United States--way more than an average flu season— makes this very deadly.

Why are you trying to down play the seriousness of this disease?

I have already had one friend die of this and my godson is very ill. These healthy people would have recovered easily from a regular flu.

And just because a book gets high ratings on Amazon doesn't mean the book is good. It good be that it just attracts a certain type of reader.

And actually it is not true that all 1 star reviews were given by people who had not read the book.

German to English translation of one of the reviews is below:
Sorry not a perfect translation.

Unfortunately there is no possibility to assign 0 stars. If there were, I would have chosen this option.

It is almost embarrassing to read that a habilitated doctor, half-knowledge and theses in a book that are based on no evidence, it is not, as I would have expected, to work with well-founded scientific hypotheses that are supported by publications.

But only an opinion made known. In many places, false statements are made. If Mr. Bhakdi had co-written medical textbooks, one would have to rethink them fundamentally. The book ended up in the trash."

You must wear a mask, not only to protect yourself but your children and your neighbor from influenza, pneumonia and death.

Brussels,
If you believe Covid is a hoax, that is your opinion.
What is your opinion on other communicable infections?
Are they real or a hoax too?

The United States is in bad shape.
Still shortages of masks, gloves, disinfected wipes, bleach, alcohol swabs, PPE's, I.C. beds, food shortages ( chicken, beef, pork at inflated prices), other groceries sky rocketed, ect.
High un-employment, many jobs lost.

We have a pandemic, a recession/depression, and a racial uprising long overdue over police brutality.

Now the Federal Reserve announced they are running out of money for buisnesses to make change for their customers. Many stores in my area are requiring credit card purchases only, unless you have the exact change.

We are the poster child of what NOT to do during a pandemic.

Covid19 or a virus is killing, no doubt.

Many corona viruses kill, and other pathogens do.

I fought lyme with you all, so I'm not a newby on this infectious disease story.

I know how dangerous pathogens can be, as I fought for my life against lyme. And my daughter too.

We all know 1918-1920 flu killed way too many people.

But this flu has NOTHING to do with the 1918 flu.
Just put the numbers down in paper, and you'll find out why.

the order of magnitude of the 1918 flu and this flu is totally different.

I'll write another post about that.

What I question are POLITICAL measures.

prof Bhakdi is also questioning political measures done due to this virus. he's not questioning the virus.

Until June 2020, in Germany, there was NO extra deaths compared to previous years.

2018 was MUCH deadlier in Germany, even mainstream media talks about that.

Yes, the flu kills, Corona viruses kill.

Why then nothing has ever been done before, in previous years, to protect the population?

In Switzerland, the same: no extra deaths.
In absolute numbers, there were more deadly years (from Jan to now, compared to previous years).

Did lock down measures come to protect people against the virus OR to slow down the progression, not to overload our hospitals?

that's what people are missing.

Do you guys think that it is to protect the population against spreading of the virus?

Sarscov1 killed almost 10% of the infected, it was MUCH more dangerous than Sarscov2.

Why nothing had been done in the past then?

It's not the virus that I'm questioning, nor Prof Bhakdi.

This professor is the most cited epidemiologist in Germany. He's not a low class unknown epidemiologist.

he knows corona viruses for decades!
He knows there are thousands of deaths from the flu every year, because that's his field of work.

He is not doubting about corona viruses, as he deals with epidemics EVERY YEAR.

Every year, there is an corona virus epidemics! That's what he says.

Every year, people DIE from Corona viruses

The epidemic of corona start somewhere in winter, or end of winter and ends by the end of spring or beginning of summer in Europe.

Every single year.

What he criticizes is that we are giving away our CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS of the whole society

- no right to meet, move around freely, to work, to go to school, to protest on the streets, to meet with other people, to attend to cultural activities, sports etc -

while we should be protecting the old, mostly.

They are the ones mostly in danger.

And STILL we should ask THEM, the old:

" Do you want to give away the visit of your relatives for years - because Corona viruses don't simply disappear, they live with us for hundreds of years already - or would you rather have your children visiting and risk contamination?

Now the epidemics stopped in Europe.

He is not talking about the virus: the virus will not disappear.

An epidemic is when there are a lot of people infected at the same time.

That's what he taught at university. That's the medical and epidemiological definition of epidemic.

The SarsCov2 epidemic is finished here in Europe.
It may come back, as every year, again, like other pathogens.

Just see this graphic from previous years epidemic in Europe:

https://emedicine.medscape.com/article/227820-overview

This is basic knowledge.
