As some may know, Dr. Charles R. Jones in Connecticut, who treated so many Lyme children from around the country and world, has been in the hospital.
He is 90 plus years old now, bless his heart, but has been seeing children with Lyme, non-stop, for about 40 years (my estimate).
I am sharing information (as it is received) at the site dedicated to him and his precious children. www.DrJonesKids.org
There is also information at the site in the event you'd like to send him a get well card/note.
It saddens me when I think how lonely it must be there with the Covid restrictions in place, so my bet is he would love to hear from you.

It just came to my mind- yes, I'm slow sometimes- that some of the newer patients may not know the amazing Dr. Jones and what he has been through over the years to fight off the dim-wit "officials" who were bent on destroying him for not following their rules.
What he has done for the children and all of us and our efforts has been absolutely amazing.
If you scroll down on the main page you will see a picture of him with some green balloons and a beautiful small child and her mother.
Next to the photo are short video clips that will tell you about him. He is a true angel.

I am so sorry to hear this. He is a true hero in the Lyme community!
Dr. Jones was the only one who correctly diagnosed our son's illness after six years of all sorts of diagnoses and subsequently treated him for a number of years.
Our thoughts and prayers are with him. May the Great Physician heal him and give him good health.

Thanks, TC. Guess patient privacy laws also play into this.
I'm sure someone will hear something - in the meantime let's pray for his speedy recovery and good health!
