Hi, everyone!!

I hope you are having a good day.

I have a bad stomach today. Thanks, MCAS.

Came home after first service. I'm off to the bed.

Hi TuTu! You beat me in setting up this week's thread! I thought I'd give you a break this time! [Big Grin]

Egads gang! I've gained so much weight and we haven't had our Christmas eve snacks or dinner this year!

Josh's Dad was positive for Covid so we're not doing our Christmas until January 6th or 7th. Josh is getting better but still has congestion and no sense of taste or smell.

I'm still stoked about the holidays even though we have to postpone them.

TuTu that darn MCAS! Mine is acting up too from all the food I've been eating. Sigh.....

Well....off to find something to do!

Tutu—hope you feel better soon.

After eating cheese two days in a row my sinuses are congested but it was worth it.

I did a load of laundry.

Went to church via zoom.

Talked to mom on the phone twice today.

Dropped off the food pans to my friend who made dinner for me this weekend. I will eat the rest of her wonderful cooking tonight.

Am reading a good book this afternoon.

I had another bad headache today. 😩 I thought stopping Flonase has taken care of it. Maybe I need the 2nd cervical vertebrae adjusted. It is more than just congested sinuses.

I did go grocery shopping this morning.

Did my knee exercises.

Tried to take a nap to relieve headache but couldn’t sleep.

I went to the recycling centers. At the first one the bins were all full, so I had to drive to a different one. That was okay because one the way back I could drop off library books.

Time to pull the garbage bin to the curb.

Where is everyone?

I did my shoulder exercises and balance exercises today.

Went to the library and picked up 4 books on hold. They always seem to come in at once.

Talked to my mom and then to one of my junior high teachers that I became friends with.

It snowed a bit but I think it will rain tomorrow, so I am not going to clean off the porch or driveway.

I'm here but down in the dumps. My mother is being a bit on the mean side. I don't know what's going on with her.

AK--My mom has been out of sorts, too. May be it is the holidays and she is missing people.

Our son & his wife are here so we are busy enjoying their stay!

Had Christmas dinner Mon night and opened gifts.

Had birthday party last night for Daughter-in-law, Haystacks for supper and homemade marble birthday cake, decorated by daughter.

Today finish baking gingerbread house pieces and tonight build and decorate our gingerbread houses.

Tomorrow get ready for our New Years day party.

Make cinnamon rolls and maybe a batch of homemade doughnuts.....

Play more games, cook food, eat, party!!

A little work gets done too - laundry, feeding the animals - yesterday one of the goats got out of their pen and came up to the back porch and then next they were both up on the front porch!!

Monday was bread baking day - got 30 loaves baked.

Work on the bathroom is still progressing. Hubby is somewhat of a perfectionist, so its got to be done right. We say it looks good, but he sees the flaws. Only a real drywaller would see the mistakes. The ordinary people won't see a thing! Hubby does good work.

Manna-sounds like a wonderful long holiday.

I slept in this morning.

I did my knee exercises and rode the exercise bike a bit.

Called mom.

Called life insurance company to ask about a claim and spent forever on hold. Lol

Started working on Bible study. We don’t start for 2 weeks but I love digging deep.

Today was a better day. Just about gave myself a buzz cut last night and cut my Mom's hair today before her shower. Her hair looks great, mine is so-so.

Did two loads of laundry and made canned biscuits and creamed chicken. Dropped off some to Josh.

Hiker I didn't think about the holidays being hard on my Mom....duh! Kudos on working out!

Manna your holidays sound like so much fun! Our 'Christmas' is set for January 9th if we're all healthy. Tomorrow we're celebrating New Year's eve by eating soba (noodle soup) as close to midnight as possible. It's an Okinawan tradition to bring in the new year and break with the old.

See everyone tomorrow!

AK-I doubt I will make it until midnight tonight. But I am so ready to kick 2020 out the door!

I did a bit of cooking.

Did my balance exercises and then went for a short walk. Chilly but sunny. Freezing rain and snow tomorrow!

Talked to my mom. She was in a good mood today.

Gabbed with my BFF for over an hour, so lots of lip and vocal cord exercise. [Big Grin]

Appetizers, champagne and tv tonight.

Happy New Year everyone! We did eat our soba noodles with Josh through FB messenger around 11:30 and brought in the new year together!

My Mom was giggling away when we added effects to our cameras making us look like aliens, Elvis, mummies, etc.

We can always count on Josh to liven things up!

I actually baked today and made a banana bread and pumpkin/cranberry muffins. I'll drop some off to Josh tomorrow along with some Chinese take-out.

Bit worried about Josh. He told me tonight that he was having shortness of breath and wasn't feeling as good as he did yesterday.

He said Covid seems to go in cycles. One minute feeling OK and the next not so great.

I just pray that he'll be OK.

Hiker I'm so glad you exercised those vocal chords! My Mom was in a good mood too. I think seeing Josh on FB messenger cheered her up!

Well, it's 2:05 a.m. and think I'll try to get some sleep.

Night all!

[sleepy]

AK—Sending prayers for Josh!

Happy New Year!🎊

Today brought an ice storm. Lots of big tree branches down but we have power. Snow to follow tonight.

I had a lazy day. Mainly gabbing to friends and family on the phone.

May watch some football tonight while I read.

Happy New year!

Thank you Hiker for the prayers! I'm having a lazy day too. Weather was bad here so we didn't get take-out and Josh didn't get his muffins or banana bread.

Just watched TV and worked on a puzzle today.

I weighed myself today and not starting out the new year like I had planned. I've enjoyed eating to much since Thanksgiving and need to start cutting back.

See everyone tomorrow!

Today was a bit of cleanup from the ice storm and snow.

We didn't get much snow so I was able to clear the drive and sidewalk myself. I have some tree limbs down in my yard and will wait a few days to move them since more freezing rain/snow coming tonight.

I put down the rest of my ice melt, so need to get more this week, but today I wasn't venturing out in my car. Too many tree limbs down, too slick, and a lot of places without power.

I did 2 loads of laundry.

Baked salmon and a potato and asparagus for lunch.

Will grill a burger and have a salad with snow peas for dinner.

I plan to watch Illini basketball this evening and read.

Picked up a few groceries for Josh and me and Mom. Dropped off Josh's groceries, banana bread slices and 5 pumpkin muffins. He was so happy to get the homemade treats.

He still has shortness of breath and some chest pain when he inhales deeply. I sure hope and pray that he'll get better soon.

Ate leftovers, watched TV, took down outdoor Christmas decorations and worked on my puzzle. So had a relaxing day.

Hiker your lunch and dinner sounds delicious! I've been eating to much junk! Josh mentioned that I should go to the gym and walk on the indoor track. I might give it a try.

See you all tomorrow!
