Iodine from kelp helps me. I learned about it only several weeks ago from a herbalist meet up where they played a video lecture by an MD. I learned that iodine is not stored by the body. Nascent iodine, not iodide. Most of the so-called iodine sold in stores are actually iodide this is key.

Iodine is stored by the body in the thyroid. I took a supplement with too much and it messed up my thyroid and caused bad headaches.
When I stopped all returned to normal. So, be careful on the amount you take. And no, iodine, in any form, will not protect you from covid nor cure covid. -------------------- Hiker53 "God is light. In Him there is no darkness." 1John 1:5
