You might have heard of Prof Ian Lipin. I mentioned him because I realized I have seen this researcher before. He is known as the famous “Virus Hunter.” Kris Newby, author of “Bitten”, interviewed him in her book, pages 237 and 238.
Prof Lipin was in charge of the genetic sequencing being done on ticks for the rickettsia’s virus at Columbia University in 2019. Kris called on Prof Lipin to check on his progress on the analysis. Dr Lipin couldn’t give Kris a timeline for when he would be finished.
Prof Lipin; “The presence of rickettsia in ticks does not necessarily mean that they can be transmitted to humans and cause disease. It is hard to do this research without financial support.”
Prof Lipin is after all a very busy man. He states he has worked in China for over 2 decades along with his Columbia University jig.
If you don’t remember, Prof Lipin was one of the 1st researchers to deny COVID-19 was lab created. In March 2019, he was a key figure and alley in the fierce debate over the origins of the virus.
Prof Lipin made purposeful attempts to stifle the lab- leak hypothesis by the scientific establishment, condemned blaming China, praised China for its efforts to control the outbreak and ruled out any type of laboratory-based scenario in his co-authored and highly influential commentary in “Nature Medicine” journal.
PROF LIPIN HAS NOW STATED IT IS CONCEIVABLE THAT COVID-19 IS A BIO-LABORATORY INCIDENT.
Prof Lipin states he learned of the new outbreak in Wuhan more than 2 weeks before it was disclosed to the global health communities. (Dec 15, 2019).
Prof Lipin states he had been tracking the disease with his friends in China. He said he was tipped off by a Chinese research partner. Prof Lipin has received 1.34 million dollars in research grant monies from a company in China that utilizes bat corona viruses.
Prof Lipin states the epidemic could have been prevented if early warning systems had functioned property. He knew that high-risk experiments on bat corona viruses were being carried out by Wuhan scientists in low-bio safety labs.
Prof Lipin has serious credibility issues. Why has he changed his mind publicly? This is what causes distrust with our own government entities.
I hope Kris Newby realizes he is not to be trusted further. (Although she probably knew this going in) And it would be nice if he ever got around to completing his geome sequencing of rickettsia pathogens in ticks.
