I watched my church service on YouTube.

Did a load of laundry.

Bought two packages of gluten free caramel chocolate chip cookies from Girl Scout down the street. Put them in the freezer so I wouldn’t eat them all today. [Big Grin]

Talked to mom and then to a friend for over an hour. Hope that counts as exercise.

Otherwise my exercise was living vicariously through Olympic events one last day. Closing ceremonies are tonight.

Off to fix a tossed salad, steam zucchini and have my spaghetti sauce over rice noodles.

By the way, hiker .. I agree with you on the medals. Just to be there is so exciting and so life-changing.

I'm waiting on the mechanic to come over to get things started. It's late, but hey, it's not raining or snowing!! (plus it's warm!)

He will probably finish it tomorrow unless he gets excited and just works until it's done.

Church was rather full this morning .. at least way better than it has been in a long time.

I'm looking forward to a wonderful EASTER!

Did my knee exercises.

Took recycling to nearby bins.

Filled bird feeders before next storm rolls in.

Went to library.

Talked to mom and with two friends. More vocal exercise.

Grilling burgers for dinner.

Time to take garbage to curb.

Thanks Hiker for starting us off this week.

Worked out to my usual 3 DVDs and added a Jane Fonda low impact workout that Josh bought me for Christmas one year.

We had my sister Carol's inurnment on Friday and it was wonderful. There was a tad bit of drama but my sister's best friend handled it nicely.

I was wiped out emotionally the whole weekend.

Feeling better today after talking with a friend.

Tired and going to read before bed.

Night all!

Baking day.

Cut out an apron for a birthday gift for a friend. Started sewing it.

Helped daughter get some goals written down in small manageable steps.

Gabbed with my SIL, she said her sis went to the hospital by ambulance today. She hadn't heard yet what was wrong. Asked for prayers.

Hubby & Sonny worked on the one vehicle. Discovered it needs a new fuel pump. So as soon as they can get one, they'll put it in.

Sonny baked whoopie pies tonight and only baked them for 8 minutes instead of 10. Hopefully they will be a bit more moist with less baking time.

Spent more time checking on my supplement order. They were updating their system and my orders got caught in the system. Hopefully they ship soon! I'm really missing my magnesium.

Gonna quick go sew a few more seams until hubby is ready for bed. He's doing a foot detox.

Happy Palindrome Day. 2/22/22 on Tuesday. [Big Grin]

Manna--Will be praying for your SIL! Funny how I had trouble getting my magnesium last week and another friend ran out and had trouble getting hers, too.

I did my knee exercises and balance exercises.

Spent some time looking for a small shower caddy to hold soap and shampoo for mom's tiny shower. The resident support person called me to say mom needed one as hers fell off and wouldn't go back on. It was old and I couldn't find one just like it.

It was kind of her to call and then she went and measured for me from the shower head to the handle as one that hangs over the shower head might be a better type to buy than one that just suctions to the side of the shower. Although mom is short, so I hope she can reach it. Lol

Every time mom needs something it becomes an ordeal because I live over an hour away.

I went and got my hair cut. Hadn't even had it trimmed since the first week of December. I feel brand new.

The started at 55 degrees and then got very windy with rain that went horizontal. Going down to 14 tonight. Then snow on Thursday. I can tell it is still February!

Have a good evening!

Was a warm day with rain early, dreary the rest of the day. This afternoon the wind picked up. Blew the roof off the old cold cellar again. We'll pick it up and plop it back on after the wind dies down. No harm done.

Today we started organizing the kitchen cupboards and deciding what goes where. Started a box of things we never use to donate. Odds & ends of silverware and utensils, a stack of saucers, and such like!

Finished sewing the apron for my friend and sent it off in the mail with a birthday card. I think she'll be surprised.

Daughter cleaned out the fridge this morning. It was time!

Sonny & Hubby put the new faucet in to get water outside, from the well for the animals, only to discover no water comes. So they will need to check into what is wrong tomorrow. It was getting too dark to see.

Thanks for the prayers, hiker! She still hadn't heard what is wrong this afternoon.

Got most of the washing done but not folded. At least it's clean!

Wrote a letter to my aunt, her birthday is on Saturday. She has started displaying signs of dementia. Someone stays with her most of the time because she is doing odd things. Like doing her laundry in the middle of the night.

Ran errands this morning then went to sit with Mrs H.

Came home and had leftovers for dinner and binge watched our show until 9:00.

Hiker we bought a really great shower caddy from Bed, Bath and Beyond. It goes over the shower head and has little suction cups. My Mom can reach everything without any problems and she's 4'7".

Manna I miss going to the gym and detoxing in the sauna. It helped me tremendously with aches and pains too. Oh BTW, a friend brought me a wonderful loaf of German bread from the bakery in Atlanta and it was delicious! Made me think of you!

My plan is to get up at 7:00 and workout then meet a friend who needs a valance for her curtains. Mom wants to sew it so she'll have something to do.

Also catching a movie with Josh. Yes...it's another scary movie. [Eek!]

Off to read!

Got up earlier than usual to go to the dentist. Just needed a cleaning and I am thankful I have good teeth.

So, I celebrated my good teeth by eating too many sugar filled caramel chocolate chip girl scout cookies! Sigh [bonk]

I did my knee exercises.

Went grocery shopping. Good grief on the price of things such as toilet paper and Kleenex. [Eek!]

Spent a lot of time setting up all of my bills for automatic payment and to go paperless.

Called mom and then talked to my brother for quite a while.

Am finishing up a good mystery book tonight and maybe watch a recorded show on TV.

Manna--Let us know how your SIL is doing.

Tutu--When do you give the next crocheting lesson?

AK--Scary movies would not help me sleep at night!

My SIL called this afternoon, said her sister is in a mental hospital. She had gone off one of her meds thinking she didn't need it anymore.

Did more sorting and organizing in the kitchen. Decided to make our own organizer for the silverware drawer so its fits perfectly. Hubby took cereal boxes and cut them to fit and I covered them in sticky paper.

Washed two loads of laundry.

Hi gang! Woke up at 7:00 and worked out to 3 DVDs, so a little over an hour. Couldn't squeeze in Jane Fonda's low impact workout but did run errands and parked far from the door to walk some.

I enjoyed Josh's company very much at the scary movie. We picked up our usual Mexican fast food for dinner and ate at his house afterwards.

Home and ready to read a bit.

Manna my second ex would fake taking his meds and was in and out of the mental hospital. Finally his doc told me to look under his tongue after taking meds and BINGO what a huge difference in his behavior. Alas it wasn't enough to save the marriage though.

Hiker I'm drowning in pizza at my house. I've got to do better diet wise. Trying to figure out a way to not eat what my Mom eats but then she won't eat. So I might try eating some of the same food but not as much. Also have to watch my food allergies. Sigh...

See you all tomorrow!

[hi]

Sorry .. will catch up reading soon.

Hiker .. my next crochet class won't be until next week due to the weather. My poor students would be completely lost, but I am sending them You Tube videos.

Some have only been to one class! We had our first class canceled due to weather, then our first class, then last week with very iffy weather. About half of them didn't make it.

Now tomorrow is canceled. Sigh.

By the time I see them again, they will be pros! HAHHAA.. I have heard from a few of them. One person has already made several potholders and I'm pretty sure we have some infinity scarfs!

I'm on my third scarf. I started a new stitch tonight. It's really pretty and interesting also.

I didn't realize I didn't tell about my alternator. When he got in there to fix the battery, he found a bad alternator too.

So $600 later .... It would have been $1000 if we had had it towed to the nearby city.

So it's working great again, but I only got one day of freedom. lol. Now we are locked in with ice and sleet. More on the way.

We had our Bible study early today so people would not have to walk on the icy sidewalks. I'm lucky because all I have to do is walk upstairs. (no ice)

I'll tell you guys a cute story tomorrow. Right now I've got to save my hands.

Sleep well and try not to worry about world events. We will be OK. I promise. Just pray!

Had Bible study this morning. Did a lot of prayer for Ukraine.

I did my knee and balance exercises.

Made more muffins and put in the freezer.

Snowing here with icy mist mixed in. Is slick out. I put on my yaktrax over my shoes and tried to walk in the grass as much as possible to get to the mailbox.

Watching Illini basketball tonight.

Went to the gym this morning for 1 1/2 hour.
They just did a renovation and added a sauna.
I forgot all about it, yish.
I’ll be sore tomorrow.

Cleaned bathroom and installed new toilet seat.
I replaced it because the old seat was oval but my bowl is round.
Been like that for years, lol.

Vacuumed and dusted.
Got on a step ladder (very careful ) and dusted ceiling fan fins, it was filthy.

walked little Ellie to the mailbox but she wrestled out of her collar and ran down the street. Bus and car coming, I’m yelling, but her little legs kept going.(plus she’s deaf). She turned left down my street, ran up the sidewalk and was waiting for me on the porch.

Took a long hot shower as everything hurts.
I really wanted pizza but was unable to drive to go get it.

Praying for the people of Ukraine.

Baking day. Tried a new bread.... added diced pepperoni in the loaf. We'll see if its a winner or not. My family says it needs more pepperoni. We had one for supper.

Raw dreary day with a few sprinkles.

Hubby and the boys were in & out trying to get better internet service by putting up an antenna. Had to try it out on all sides of the house. Even went up the hill to the barn. Being in the mountains can be a problem sometimes.

Daughter worked at building the shelf in the closet in the girls bedroom.

The boys said they saw the dog get pummeled by one of the mama goats when she got too close. We will need to do some fencing checking as the kids are popping through the fence.

I finally got a ship notice for my supplement order! I am so ready for my magnesium and Hubby is concerned his vitamin c won't last till it gets here.

Hi everyone! Sat with Mrs H today then home and binge watched our latest Chinese Historical drama. We're almost finished with the 60 episodes.

Mom finished her sewing project so I'll be up early to workout and meet my friend downtown to deliver the valance, curtain tie backs and pillow.

You guys are getting pounded with crazy winter weather. Down here it's an early overly warm spring. I'm working in the yard this weekend getting seeds planted and starting on my concrete block single layer wall against the fence line.

I haven't had a chance to catch the news yet but I'll be praying for Ukraine too.

[group hug]

AK--Get Josh to help you with the concrete blocks, please!

Tutu sent her icy weather to me last night. I did put ice melt down early this morning and was able to use my ice chipper this afternoon to get it all off the porch, sidewalk, and driveway. Probably not the best for my shoulder doing that, though.

Did my knee exercises.

Worked on Bible study.

Made a meatloaf and froze it.

Called mom. Then she called back to say the new shower caddy was too high for her to reach. I suspected that might be an issue as the shower head is pretty high in the shower.

Ordered her a different type and hope to get there early next week so I can grab the one that didn't work and return it to Amazon. Sure hope this second one works out.

Tried to take a nap in the recliner but the phone kept ringing. Am supposed to get a call from my brother's genetic counselor to talk about my neurological symptoms and imbalance and see if any match up with his. However, she hasn't called, yet.

I do know she is sending me a DNA kit to test myself and my mom for the gene mutation he has.

Am making a simple dinner of store-bought gluten free pizza with tossed salad.

Then will watch a bit of TV and read as usual.

Sure enough, woke up but didn’t get the license plate off the truck that hit me. Today was very bad day, pain pain pain.

I ended up taking stuffed cabbage rolls out of freezer.
Had left over mashed potatoes in the frig and dinner was fabulous.

I did wash 2 blankets.
With animals as my best friends, I try to keep clean where they lay.

Back to bed to heal.

Way overdid it today! Worked out to 3 DVDs and ran errands then tackled the yard.

20 cinder blocks later and 4 bags of river rock and I'm super medicated and in bed.

Should have listened to you Hiker!

I will never learn!!!

oh ouch, Bonnie and AK!!

Manna .. your doggie learned a lesson, I suppose!

Hiker .. hope you find some clues... but not bad ones! Sorry about the icy weather.

We have to go to a funeral at our church tomorrow.

I know that everything is still icy .. here, there and everywhere. Hubby almost fell this morning trying to get to the car.

He had to go to church to get ready since he is the organist ya know. The lady who passed away was the organist and choir director before he took it over. I know he wants to do a good job for her.

It's supposed to be above freezing by noon and the service is at 2. I'm sure the parking lot at church is in terrible shape.

I've been crocheting a lot and my hands weren't happy about it this morning. (I finished my third scarf though!!) So then I decided to vacuum and clean the house while hubby was gone.

I also washed the sheets and that is physically taxing too.

Then about 8 pm I realized I had promised to make a dessert for the funeral. OOPS! I had everything bought for it, but OUCH on my hands!

I had to cream the cream cheese with sugar .. you know the drill. I tried to use the electric mixer, but that was almost as bad.

And my feet hurt ... too much in one day!!

I have not been outside (other than two steps to take a pic) since Tuesday afternoon. That is verified by "Life 360." [Big Grin]

Tutu--Hope the ice has melted there. I has melted here and not above freezing, yet. Sunshine helps.

AK--Hope you are done moving blocks and river rock. Be kind to your body!

Bonnie, hope you are in less pain today!

Manna--Was the pepperoni in the bread a big hit?

I did a load of laundry.

Did my knee exercises and balance exercises.

Watched the video that goes with Bible study.

Finished up my taxes. Ugh.

Took an hour long nap this afternoon. Needed it for some reason.

Just relaxing tonight.

Shopped around at the thrift mall with Mom. I snagged a red hat and wine glass.

Still pretty sore and am medicated and back in bed.
