I'm in contact with him on FB. He's progressing, but still can't walk. He gets PT every day.

Hi <<<<<Ann-Ohio >>>>>,
Thanks for asking,we greatly appreciate it.Some meds he needs were lost, he is still in Group home care, Vet. Admin. will not send more til the 11th. He may lose mobility for a while.
He cannot walk, but the PT was trying to help him at least to stand,so he could get into his wheelchair. A frustrating setback for him. if the meds were in his control this wouldn't have occured. The group home owner manager controls the meds.
I'll see him in a couple days,so well see how he is. Hopefully it wont be to big of a setback. Jus' Silverwolfi

Upon realizing, the meds loss, was beyond treks ability to prevent, they sent more so that is helpful.
Now,getting him proper PT is a scramble. Seems to be issues,in our area, PTs are overloaded, and sometimes paperwork gets confusing, and confused.

Trek was able to pull himself up,with a rope attached to the end of the bed!
He couldn't sit up as long as he liked but he can do that by himself,so it is an improvement. He says he will be home in a couple three weeks.
I am hoping praying and being positive w/ him!!!

Hi all. Trek had a really good PT session!!!
He called after, and told me, he got his left leg to work, and got knee to 'Lock-in', but not the right knee yet. But he was so excited,he at least got to stand most of the way!!! After months of not being able to, this is Awesome !!!
He wants to be home so badly, and I want him here,as soon as is safely possible!

Hellooooo,
I get which knee is or isn't working properly, confused , but he's had more good sitting up, which helps his balance. Right now they are working to get his blood glucose readings down. The pt,and some VA? folks I think ,are firming up plans to build him a ramp here at home!!!!
So we are hoping before the end of the month is up, to have him and his bed safely home!!! Those who pray, please join us in hopes and prayers for this!!! Thank You!!! Jus' Silverwolfi

Trek Sat up unassisted no rope , just him sitting up and balancing , and yesterday he was super close to actually standing all the way up!!!
He has gotten about 80% standing, this time he was at 95%. Hopefully next week he can stand up completely!!!
It is getting closer, Ramp folks will be checking things for Tuesday to see best and safest place for his ramp!!
I am so very delighted that it is truly close to time.
