I was just starting to be able to eat again after the 32 radiation treatments.
I was in the eye doctors trying on glasses frames.
I had to remove my n95 mask to get the ear part to fit right on the glasses.
A sick lady sneezed all over the place I threw down the frames and put on my mask.
Didn't work.
For a week my throat was sore did home covid test negative went to the doctor got a negative flu test.
Then a week later on friday it really hit, fevers and torture, ears plugged up can't talk,like 103.5 fevers. Cant eat or swollow aching all over joints ect. To tired to try to eat if i could swollow.
Got every test at the ER negative for flu covid and strep.
After a week more of torture blowing giant blood clots out of my nose.The fevers stopped.
I am so tired ,My smell is so strange,cant hardly hear,I think my body has had it.
How many things can you heal from when you can't hardly eat.
I am trying, I have potatoes boiling to mash and a crock pot with 5 pork chops cooking in sweet baby ray,with some of my home canned tomatoes in there.
I got to beat this thing,have had to cancel my oncology appointments ,Can't infect other cancer people.

Ditto about hanging in there MD. Sure hope you can get some nutrients in there. When I get sick I usually do canned soup and Gatorade.

Thanks everyone I have came to the conclusion this is a non strep sinus infection - not viral but a bacteria.
Since i cant take oral abx anymore due to GI problems ,and the doctors wont give deep intra muscular shots anymore.
I have to give myself a deep intra muscular shot of penn. like I used to do.
I am warming up the bottle right now.

That should help. When I had Covid this summer I ended up getting a bacterial sinus infection too. Antibiotics and Predisone helped clear it up.

I am a little better today.Over two weeks of this crap. The shot didn't help. I have had 6 covid test,2 flu test,and 2 strep test all negative.
I got herxes in my joints from the shot.Very large popping and cracking.
Doctor office hinted there may be a new covid that the test does not work on ,possible crossed with the cold virus. Also being weak from 32 radiation treatments makes it harder for me to get rid of the virus.
