For the second time THIS week, a jury has awarded the Lyme plaintiff monies for the misdiagnosis of Lyme Disease. This patient now has chronic Lyme illness due to the uneducated practitioner.

Sad that someone has to go through this.
No amount of money can make up for the damage to this person or to a lot of us who were misdiagnosed and not listened to.

I agree with Hiker. Good news is that this case was in another state - Maryland. Against an urgent care facility that saw the guy several times while he had some very obvious Lyme disease symptoms.
So glad he got to the right place - the great John's Hopkins research people who got him to a hospital immediately, but they only gave him mimimim treatment and he is not better yet..
