I remember years ago there was a doctor in MD (a Dr. S maybe) that was on the verge of losing their license?
I do remember Dr. Z in VA who I think has lost her license multiple times? I am not sure if she got it back from the recent time.
I ask because I had a neurologist appt with a definitely non-lyme friendly physician. In his rage filled rant about long term lyme, he mentioned drs in md and va who lost or were on the verge of losing their licenses. He took great glee in it and I wondered at the time if he is/was involved in getting their license revoked.

I had a doc tell me many years ago that my LLMD was a quack.
I'm sorry, sir, you are an idiot.
No, I didn't say that, but I should have. My husband called him later and told him off.
The good news was that they didn't charge me for that appointment. It was just a time for arguing anyway.
Jerk.

That's scary and awful!!
I've had appts like that, and ER doctors that had me with steam coming out of my ears!! The head ER doctor said, very dismissively, "You just need to find a kindly old GP!" I would have socked her, if I could have.
I learned the hard way not to mention who my doctors are, and to be very careful about talking about Lyme too much. Because the last thing I want to do is get my LLMD, etc. in more trouble than they already are in!
On top of that, you don't want doctors to write something bad about you in your electronic health record!
Yes, in some ideal world it would be good to speak back to them, but in the world we actually live in, no so much. I'm sorry you had to go through that.
The arrogance of some doctors is breath-taking! I have a number of good doctors, who are not dismissive about Lyme, and who treat me with kindness and respect. They are like gold; they're worth more than gold.
