Terry was from Minn., but her blog had lots of followers and she helped many. This announcement was posted on Facebook by https://www.lymeawarenessmn.com
"It is great sadness that we share the passing of a nationally known Lyme Warrior, Terry Mayfield.
In 1998 she had to quit working due to her undiagnosed illness. 13 years later she finally learned it was Lyme disease.
With the support of her husband Mark, Terry went to great lengths and so many doctors to try to get on top of her Lyme disease.
Over the last year her seizures, which had been occasional, increased to several a day. More doctors, neurologists, etc.
Terry’s final seizure was Monday, March 6th when her heart could take no more. She was just 55 years old.
Terry was a fierce supporter and champion to all in the Lyme community across the U.S. She started her blog, Color Me Lyme, almost a decade ago to raise awareness and support others.
In recent years she changed it to her name: www.TerryMMayfield.com where she also shared resources for fellow Lyme warriors.
She posted her last blog story just a few days before her passing.
Thank you Terry Mayfield for all the awareness you raised while fighting so hard against this terrible disease.
Please Share this post so that all who knew her will know. "

Thank you for posting this Ann-O. Read some things on her website and she seemed like a wonderful person. My sincere condolences to her family.
